HOT CHOCOLATE

My family absolutely LOVES hot chocolate! One year my sil, Cheryl received a hot chocolate machine for Christmas and then Gretchen received one for Christmas also. Finally, our family received a hot chocolate machine too. Well, actually Beauty received it as a gift. We have used that thing so much that we have burned it out. Actually, we went through TWO! So, last year we started looking at a professional grade hot chocolate maker or purchasing the wands, just how they do it at Starbucks. Maybe, that little gadget will find its way under our tree this year. But, for now a big pot of hot steamy milk is doing just fine! Silly willy is still sicky wicky and he requested that I make him hot chocolate with lots of miniature marshmellows! Well, of course Hot chocolate is addicting and it seems to bring everyone running to the kitchen. I swear they can sense when hot chocolate is being made! So, my pot for 2, soon went to a pot for 4 and then a pot for 10! As I was making this big pot of hot chocolate I got the tickles and reminisced with Mr. Incredible and said REMEMBER WHEN GRETCHEN made a big pot of hot chocolate and was all happy and excited and Steve's reaction?? It still makes me giggle. LOL, so sorry Gretchen that this memory of me making a huge pot of hot chocolate would bring back a "steve" moment! At least you all can laugh about it now! The 2 wk. ordeal! CUH-RAZY!!!!
The only thing our household was out of was french vanilla to add in to our hot chocolate! Our family is all about the add ins. I have to purchase the bottles of vanilla, hazlenut and pumpkin spice and peppermint. My favorite combo is 0ne pump hazelnut and 2 pumps vanilla! (making french vanilla) absolutely to die for!

Oh my goodness, now you have me laughing! I can't believe how many memories we share. I am really going to miss not shopping on black friday with you guys! ( I mean seriously, I will miss that) Yes, I remember your HC addiction. They did have good HC! I am telling you your wooden spoon reindeers were awesome! They were the gift that kept on giving. Once they were done being decorative we used them. In fact, we still have one of the spoons! Do you know how old that spoon is? It is not like I tore it apart. LOL, it came unglued! I could not have a 3 legged reindeer. We didnt have to buy stirring spoons for a LONG LONG time afterward!

very funny!

I think B. and B. just tore theirs apart. I will never make gifts for this crazy family again! At least it was useful unlike the nipple reindeer ornament. What was I thinking?

Do you have any pics? you should post them. I am doing another ornament swap this year! I plan on posting all the ornaments I have made in the past and the ornaments I have received.

Now I want some too, and I don't have any. I'll have to try the add-ins, because I used to love all the coffeemate drinks, and I never thought about putting in hot chocolate. Now I've got a crave for both, have to get some tomorrow. It's turned a bit chilly here, at least for the gulf coast. LOL We did get down in the upper 30's though. I also love egg nog at this time of year, nothing fancy, just good ol egg nog.
