Last night we had the privillege of going to Spencer's sports banquet. This was going to be a big night for him. He deserved it. He put his heart and soul into EVERY game! There were awards and trophy's handed out and none of Spencer's coaches told him that he would make All Conference. It came as a big surprise to him and we were so happy for him. All of the coaches in his division had to vote on him and he received all votes. Spencer also was awarded " The Best Defensive front man" This award has special meaning because your entire team nominates and votes for you as well as your coaches. What an honor and what a night! It was a long rough season. Their record was 3/7. Yea, not great at all! But, just proves that even though the school and team did not do well that outstanding individuals can still be recognized by their peers and coaches in their conference. Way to go Spence! WE are so proud of you. (As if you didnt already know) Despite the long long ceremony we chose to eat out at the only restraunt opened at 10pm. TGIFridays.
