It is an Eaton Tradition to spend Christmas Eve with all of my dad's siblings and my cousins! It is always so much fun to go home and everyone looks forward to Christmas Eve. This year, my sister hosted the Christmas Eve party. The holiday tradition foods that grace our Eve table is: clam chowder, garbage bread, my aunt's infamous cheese cake, homemade cookie trays galore, dips, breads, meatballs, chicken buffalo dip, chicken quesadillas. Filet mignon, shrimp wrapped with bacon, ziti, the list goes on and on. I am sure I left out something. I am positive I ate everything. It was a little scarce this year. My aunt and uncle went to Phoenix to spend Christmas with Gina, my cousin and her family. Lori, her sister, who lives in Florida also went to AZ. Major bummer. I was looking forward to laughing and laughing with them. My other uncle and his wife and their 4 children and spouses and grandchildren did a small get together at their home. I have twin cousins and they are always so entertaining to be around. We still had a show of 25 people with 11 children. It seems so odd because on the Solomon side the children usually out number the adults. My grandmother is one awesome lady. I love her to peices. She is so witty and is so independent. She is 91 years old. She still drives herself around and keeps an impeccable house. She is an amazing role model and a great strenth to me. She never misses a birthday for her 10 grandchildren, her 16 great grandchildren and her 4 children and their spouses. We are always guaranteed a birthday card, either before or on our birthday with $10, in it. For Christmas each one of us and our spouses and children get $$. My children got to open 3 gifts on Christmas eve. They all were styling in their new clothes. The gifts that they get to open are gifts that they gave to each other. Dash got a pair of Timberland boots. He loved them!! Of course, I do not have any pictures of Christmas Eve. I couldn't put the camera down. I was EATING!!!
