Goodwill Score again! I popped into Goodwill again and found a book shelf for less than $20. It was a salvage item from Target. Sometimes, these salvage items are great deals. Our Goodwill seems to charge a high amount for used donated furniture. Half the time, I think they have lost their minds. The book shelf fits perfectly between Sweetheart and Dash's beds. I have been wanting to paint their dresser white. I have it sanded and this shelf will go perfectly with their dresser.
The biggest score has been this set of scriptures. On the temple trip I bought Warrior another set of scriptures. It cost me just over $50 with tax for the triple combo. These scriptures are brand new. I quickly thumbed through it to ensure that pages were not torn from them. What I believe is the story behind these scriptures is there were many many blue bibles donated from some church group. I think when the southern baptist churches give their yearly speil on The Mormon church being a cult, someone purchased scriptures and then felt guilty to throw them away that they decided to donate them. One man's trash is another's treasure. Sweetheart needed scriptures again because Warrior left her scriptures out when Kekoa was a puppy and he feasted upon the word of God, literally. LOL! I bought those containers for Beauty's room. The ice blue/gray matches her room perfectly and it will keep her clutter contained and off the floor; that's the plan Target for $2.

Man, I am so jealous of your find..so nice!
The scrips were quite the find...and the dog feasting on the word, just made my day, figuratively and non figuratively:
The play on words and the thought of the dog digging in physically.
Thanks for the smiles...I LOVE a blog that can make me smile consistantly...I will be back every post.
And, one of these days I may show up on your door step with a couple hundred to go shopping at your nearest good will!
Get out.. A set of scriptures from good will. Wow. What a find. I love it.
Lucky! I check goodwill every once in awhile and I never find anything good.
