ST. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patricks Day

THE GOLD

A.K.A.= THE BRIBE
Every year for St. Patrick's day the children always put out their shoes. Some years the leprechauns are very generous and some years they are not so nice. They seem to be more kind to us if we put out a pot of gold.

ANTICIPATION
Last year we forgot to leave them gold and they destroyed the house. They painted the dog, colored our toilet water, milk, and destroyed the house. This year we hope that we can bribe them into being good. This will be much appreciated since I am working today and Mr. Incredible has to fly out this morning for Las Vegas! Sweetheart has soccer practice so I don't feel like cleaning up a big mess this year. Please oh please let our gold offering be enough!

The children all had their shoes out waiting for the leprechauns to leave them a treat. They were pleasantly surprised with their goodies left in their shoes. We will have corn beef and cabbage and carrots for dinner and some lime green kool aide.

Cool tradition. I've never heard of this either, but I think the leprechauns must live at my house and obviously we have never left a gold offering because this place is always a big mess.
