Sweetheart played soccer when she was 3 years old and it was the cutest thing ever to see these little legs running and falling all over the field. Sweetheart decided that she wanted to play soccer in 2006 and she had amazing coaches and team members. She started in the league as an older newbie. Her team later when on and are the travelling challenge team players. She did not move up with the challenge team and we were under a new coach and a new year. She learned and improved so much. Mr. Incredible and I have only played soccer in gym class, never personally. So, this is a sport that we can only support and encourage and not give helpers or advice. She was an amazing player. She has such a great attitude out there on the field and will never ask to be pulled out, even if she is hurt or wants to be pulled.
Soccer has started for us yet again. Her first practices were last week and this week. Our soccer league offers a soccer clinic with a reknown soccer elite who gives his time to the teams from 5 to 8 pm every monday. The groups are split into 3 groups and each group recieving an hour of his direction. Coach Wager.
After Sweetheart's practice he came to talk with me. He praised Sweetheart at how well she is doing and what a player she is and what she should work on when at home. He talked with me and told me she is a really good athlete and all around player and will be good in any sport she chooses. He opened my eyes. I tend to underplay my children's abilities in public but they really are good at sports. She has so much bottled up potential. She does not see this in herself. She takes control when she has the ball but is all too willing to give the ball up to a team mate rather than take the kick herself. She needs more encouragement and self confidence that she can do it. She is great! I look forward to watching her play this year!

Man, you are sure running crazy aren't you...i thought having three in soccer (and two on the same team) was hard work! WOW! Looks fun though. Wish I could come and see some of the action...however, your camera does a great job.
