Twas the day before Easter and all through the house every creature was stirring except for our mouse. :( The yard was donned with hopes that beautiful Easter eggs soon will lye there. Mama and the girls are shopping for shoes, the boys are all busy but wanting to snooze. Our home has excitement and thrill in the air because this year no ham will be there. We love the wonderful Easter bunny that leaves his cotton tails behind but more importantly the true meaning of Easter we'll find. We know the true reason for the celebration is because Christ, our Lord and Savior, has been risen.
Now please head on over here. You will find a few of our family Easter traditions. I thought I would post these now, without pictures. In case, you may like to start these in your families. I have done these with my children since they were itty bitty and now they are practically grown and we continue to do them. It is always nice to be with family but I love that this year it will be just the six of us. WE are choosing not to travel. (sorry NY and TN)We will see you both in the summer. If I waited for pics it would be too late to post.

Hope your family had a nice Easter! I recently found your blog and was excited! I'm not sure if you will remember, but I used to belong to a SAHM forum on yahoo with you about 5 years ago. We had a few wonderful late night phone calls as well. Anyway, Glad to have found you!
