LASER TAG and Bowling

Before Laser Tag

After Tag with our score sheets

We went to play Laser Tag and then when we were tired and sweaty from that we decided we would cool down by going bowling. We went to the Sports Connection. It has everything! Large maze jumping units, arcade, bowling, laser tag, and a 24 hour workout center, etc. I have never played laser tag before. I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive. They gave us the rules and the object and then the lights went out! I instantly went into survivor mode and I HID! Then I realized I am OK! Warrior and Sweetheart were on my team along with 5 others. We were the blue team and we were against Mr. Incredible, Beauty, Dash and 5 others. I was going to defend our base and Warrior was going to go out for the points. I soon grew brave and decided I would venture out and try to get some points. It was so much fun! I definitely like this in comparison to PAINT BALL! I love that my family is finally grown enough that we can play this together. It WAS A BLAST! We are definitely going to do it again.
At the end of the game you are given a sheet of evaluation and overall ability. My accuracy was 46%. Beauty and Warrior both rocked the house! Beauty was top scorer and she made all her points by attacking the base. She made a few points shooting others making her way to the base. SO MUCH FUN!! If you have never done this before, please do so!!!

Bowling! Well everyone knows bowling is fun. We all had a STRIKE! we were so loud it was funny but thankfully the alley was not full. WE even began cheering for the family next to ours. People definitely know we are in da house! (I didn't say that was a good thing). Dash and Sweetheart both bowled with the bumpers. I love that the bumpers are automatic. It goes up when that player is up and down when he/she is finished. I wish we brought our video camera! Dash's technique is so funny but he scored well. Mr. Incredible about fell over on his first time up and we all got a strike or a spare! Each time one of us bowled a strike we roared with cheers and clapping. Even if we had a gutter ball we cheered. I noticed that the score board will tell you how fast your ball went. Mr. Incredible's went 19.75 mph. Well, of course I had to sling mine as hard as I could. I broke a nail and unfortunately, I guttered it and the mph does not register gutter balls and I lost a frame! Thankfully, it wasn't too crowded because I know we broke a few bowling etiquette rules. Lots of fun!
Beauty, check out her form

OH yeah, my strike

I love the stage that my family is in right now. Sweetheart had soccer practice today. I love to watch her. She is an awesome player. Dash went and watched another team scrimmage and he somehow was invited to play with them. He did great, of course. Since, we were on the fields our family had an impromptu game of soccer where we all played. THAT was a lot of fun!! I will have to remember to take better pictures but I was having too much fun.
