weekend re-cap

*Friday* -
Had someone work for me so that Mr. Incredible and I could do all the running around for Warrior's party. Ordered a gazillion balloons and spent a gazillion in food.
Decorate gym and then spend an hour cleaning up everything that we so painstakingly
put up. OH the joys of hosting a party.

*Saturday* -
Literally dragged my aching body out of bed to take pictures of Dash and his team. They played a tough team. They were equally matched. WOOHOO Dash's team won by TWO runs. Yeah, it was that close. I despise close games because of the way it makes me feel. I am a very competitive parent. I begin thinking wicked thoughts about the other team. Like putting jinxes on them to MISS the ball or DROP the ball or to SWING. My voodoo doesn't work very well because they usually end up catching the ball and swinging and making a homerun. In the future, no more jinxes for me because my heart can't take the close games.

As soon as Dash's game was through we rushed home and Dash changed his clothes for a birthday party. Then we were off to Sweetheart's soccer game. It was away. Dropped Dash off at the party. I stayed with him and Mr. Incredible brought Sweetheart. The 2 older kiddos stayed with me. Warrior drove us to Sweetheart's game after the party. I got to ride in the low rider. His truck smells like musty clothes. I check the backseat. It is musty clothes. NASTY! WE arrive to Sweetheart's game for the last 10 minutes. They lost but Sweetheart played a great game. It begins to RAIN! Thank goodness her game is over.
Sweetheart is asked by another team to play for them. They are short players. Sweetheart plays TWO hard games.

*Sunday* -
My body is still recovering from Friday nights activities. We wake early for church but are still late! UGH! We have a lot of food left over from the party that is what we ate for Sunday dinner. Nice, said sarcastically. Rush home to quickly change clothes. Back out to the ball field for Dash's team and individual pictures. Sporatic rain and lightning and pictures are cancelled. Back home to eat quickly and then snooze for the rest of the day!

I wonder who is more sore...you, from your party or me from my 30 minutes of tilling our garden, or my hubby from his 4 hours of tilling?

I so wish I could have been there eating your bazillion dollars worth of food! YUM!
