Pillsbury Pillsbury Pillsbury

I have a love affair with a dough boy. He is everything my mama warned me about. He is short, fat and white. LOL, nahh.. she didn't warn me like that. Anyway, I am in love. He tickles every taste bud and makes my mouth water. I feel so good when I am with him. I'm in heaven. I know he is wrong for me because in the morning he leaves me feeling guilt ridden and ashamed. I step on the scale and read those numbers escalated higher than the day before. I know he's bad for me when my pants just fit a little tighter. I medicate myself by popping another in my gaping mouth and then I curse the scale, mirror and jeans. I'm put into some kind of carb induced euphoric state. How can something so wrong taste so good? I lovePillsbury. I should own stock in this company.
This little dough boy is going to be the death of me!

I have made two fantastic quick meals that are perfect for the school year. They are perfect for those who have kids. Especially, those who have two kids and play on two separate soccer teams. And said children have soccer practices on opposite days of each other and the day they do share a practice, of course it has to be on two different fields on opposite ends of the city. Yeah, I'm already beating myself.
Mr. Incredible, is a savvy business man, which gives us our financial security. He is also an assistant coach for high school football. He has football practice every day. On Wednesdays he is not home until 10pm if it is a home game because they are painting the field. Fridays, well that's GAME NIGHT and we are both on the field! Who's left to tend to my two youngest rug rats? Well, that would be Beauty, (remember second mother) OK, MG get off the cross JC (jesus)needs the wood.
WHERE'S my little white boy, I seriously need him?
::phew:: I didn't know that was in me.

My point is, if you need something good and quick I have it.

If you are in a dinner slump and do not feel like burning too many brains cells on cooking dinner but want something scrumptious! You will try this recipe out! I got it at Pillsbury but please feel free to check it out on my recipe blog. Click here.
I am telling you my family ate this baby up and wanted me to make it again, immediately! And who am I to deny them their wish? I DID!
Look at his gorgeous blue eyes, they just mesmerize me. Yes, beloved. I am under his spell. I can overlook his SHORT comings.
We have such a love for Pillsbury that I made this amazing chicken ring!
It was really good! Yeah, so these aren't my Martha Stewart spend 20 hours in the kitchen preparing. That was so yester year. I did do the whole nine yards, table linens, wine goblets, beautiful sit down dinners but then we went and had another kid and then another. What were we thinking?? R.I.P. I gladly pass that torch.
He has many good qualities, he is so sweet and goes with everything, he is friendly too and has a gorgeous smile.

OH and please please never forget my family's beautiful tradition of resurrection rolls!

Every time the extended family get together we have doughnuts and monkey bread made from my beloved little dough boy.
Really, I am in love with his belly. If I were to eat him, I would start there.

I love Pillsbury. My life would be incomplete without them and I would most likely be the single digit size that Mr. Incredible married, but that was when I couldn't cook and owned a pair of running shoes.

You have made me fall in love with him too. You might be a new spokes person for them. Watch out. Those look so delicious. You are so awesome for the share. Thanks. These would make perfect missionary coming over dinners. Is pillsbury a mormon? Joking. Have a great evening.

O.k we are trying to lose the weight around here...HOW DARE YOU! I am not even going to the links. I curse your links!

I could NEVER go on a no carb diet...those people are CRAZY...they might as well lock me up if I ever have to go there.

thanks for the tips, learning to juggly work and family has been an adjustment. Having family dinner together is really important to me but lately it has not been happening and what we do eat is whatever can be thrown together the fastest. None of which looks as good as what you did.

Thank you so much! Truly! I am always on the look out for easy recipes. I don't get home from work till about 6, and with my kids's extra curricular activities and everything else it's hard. I honestly just saved all three recipes to my recipe file. Also thanks for the link to your recipe blog. I will be checking it out most definitely.

Now my tummy is talking to me. Go get ya some! Carbs are our friends. They give us energy and help us build muscles!

Can the kids ride their bikes to their soccer practices? I make Kallie ride her bike to her cross country practices and then ride home! So she is getting in a work out before and after her workout! [it is a 30 minute ride one way] I tell her it will make her all that much stronger.

PS: Mr. Blue eyes is my secret love as well.

My question is how do you have time to keep up with all these blogs! I can barely keep my hair brushed most days!!!

It's called insomnia. I sleep 4 to 5 hours a day and less on a bad day. You will be amazed if what can be done, on that schedule! I have had this regimen since before I had children.

Anyone who leaves me 12 comments on one post warrants a stop by visit, even if we did just get back from the zoo and have a short time to prepare for a b-day party ....
