I had a GREAT time! I'm GLAD I went and I have gotten to know three fun ladies even better. Ohh, NONE of them liked to have their picture taken, wtf?? (what the freak)
THE VIEW as we flew into the LOGAN Airport

FYI, flight attendants frown upon people hopping from one side of the plane to another just for a picture. But, I say it's worth a little verbal lashing. How 'bout you??

Then we bought our $2 subway pass and ended up here!
The Boston Common Where we saw lots of funny men dressed like this and we followed the red line throughout the entire city which lead you to many historical events. (we vered from the red line often) Apparently, I'm not the only one who dances to their own beat).

At first, I found this very funny. All these pigeons on these statues. Then I read and it was no longer funny but humbling. People in this century are still willing to risk their lives just to be on our soil.

We went to the famous grave sites and I heard Mother Goose's relatives were in the area! You, know I had to stop by. Jan, is related to Mother Goose, read it here. I found it strange that many head stones had skeleton heads and angel wings. I could never find out why. There were many other great leaders there but hangin' amongst the dead, gives me GOOSE bumps, and I may be mother goose but me no likey heebeejeebees!

All that walking stirred up quite and appetite! I love the Quincy Market. You can get anything your heart desires! It is like a miniature world of culinary culture! I would have been happy spending my entire time in there. Boston is A LOT pricier than my beloved NYC!

I saw a bunch of people posing with this donkey. I had no idea what it was until after we hopped off! I'm a REPUB! I should have had a picture of me kicking that donkey's Arse. Now, that would have made a kodak moment.

The middle picture is Paul Revere's home, Samuel Adams is in the lower left. All the tour groups took pictures of these others but I have no idea why, so I took it too.

It was TIME to make our trip home. We decided that it would be fun to take the ferry back to the airport! It was!! WE were able to see so much and shop for the day. I can't wait to bring the kids out there. I returned home with souvenirs. The older kids got t-shirts from the Hard Rock Cafe and the younger two a hat and sweatshirt.
REMIND me NEVER to pose next to the SKINNIEST person in a GROUP!, so if I AVOID you, in a picture, it's a COMPLIMENT!!!! btw, I'm on the far RIGHT! (but you should know that)
I'm already planning our next day trip. I'm bringing the kids to DC!

What a fun trip! What are you doing riding that donkey!!! Interesting to STAND in opposition! When you going to DC? Have you been to the holocaust memorial? That is my fav! Who would have thought Boston was more than NY! WOW!!!
What a fun time! You look great by the way!
Oh, I was talking to Kell and she said you are soft spoken... never would have thought that!
Wow, it makes me want to check it out over there- beautiful pics!
i am so jealous right now i could scream. you get to travel all you want. WAAH!!! your job os awesome. my envy is choking me.... one day i will be rich and be able to take off on day trips like that too, dang it!!!
I have never been to Boston so I'm sooo jealous. Next time I go to the East Coast I really need to work Boston in. It looks really fun. My favorite part of your post at first were the plaques about the Irish immigrants. Very touching. Then I got down to you and the donkey and that was freakin funny Miss Repub. And I just want to say that you don't need to worry about posing next to a skinny person. Regardless of where you pose all eyes go directly to Your Beautiness :-)Nobody cares who you're posing next to, no offense to your skinny friend. then I read some of the comments and I'm like whaaat? MG is soft spoke? Hmmm ---doesn't compute.
I know, I was thinking the same thing! soft spoken? me? Did Pam's sister slip some drugs while she was working at the hospital??
hmm.. I'm going to have to check on this one. People who have talked to me in real life say I have a sweet almost sing songy voice. Ummmm.. NO!!! just ask my kids when I'm screaming at them. I'm loud!crude and obnoxious! I like to laugh a lot, too.
I will just record my voice and then you all can be the judge!
I think you look great!
What great trip. I think I could use a day off.
Friends with everyone, close with very few...my motto too.
My hubby says that friends are overrated...what he realy wants to say is that some people just NEED friends too much...get secure people.
LOVE IT THAT YOU TOOK A DAY TRIP! And that you just butted your way right in...totally my style...when is your next trip, so that I can butt my way in?
yea goose, shhhhhhhhhhh it is the drugs!!!! LOL! want some?
I would love to go back there. How fun for you. Nice job nosing your way in!
SUPER FUN! I'm jealous! I would love, love, LOVE to take my family of 8 to Boston to check out all the historical sites! Only prob is we live on the other side of the country and it requires $ to travel. lol
I am dying to go to Boston now! Fun trip!!
My husband was in Boston recently and touched the toe of Harvard. I guess legend has it that if you do, your kids will attend. Our last one is more of a "Legally blond" girl and even said so. She still wants to go to BYU. For a few minutes she thought he had signed her up and paid all fees already!!!
You are such a fun person, I would love to go on a trip with you. Women's Conference? What do you think? April? m
I would love to meet up at a women's conf. I have never been before. When is it? Frump is suppose to have a huge huge meet up, I am definitely there!
Tulsi, we have a few friends who grad from Haavaad. It does guarantee a BIG pay check! I defnitely plan on going back again. It was fun!
pam, i have been to the holocaust! what an experience. I plan on bringing my children through there. There is so much to see in do in DC! We were sealed in the DC temple! I would love to spend a few days there or even just the night. I hope dh can do it with.
I go to Mass all the time cuz Katie bellydances in Springfield, but have never been to the capital. You got to some cool places!! Did you enjoy our New England weather? And the leaves are starting to change...love the Fall!!
