Sarah

When this lady came onto the presidential ballot. I had some pretty strong feelings about her and was upset that Mcgruff hadn't chosen someone with more punch, notoriety and political power. That he chose a mere soccer mom, who reigned over a small town and now over Alaska. Now, don't get me wrong. I love small towns. I also believe Alaska is beautiful but to pull out a powerful VP, in this woman?? I have doubts. She could be our possible president!

I also felt McCain was just choosing a woman to try to sway the woman vote and felt he better do a lot more than that!. Ms. S has begun to raise my eyebrow and has earned my ear. Perhaps it is better that she has been kept free from the political tarnish and is a mom. I know as a regular mother. I have some amazing ideas and suggestions as I am sure we all do. I knew Mcdonald wouldn't ask Mitt to be his running mate, even though I secretly had hoped.

I am looking forward to learning more of her. I missed Saturdays debates! I do not get caught up in the media portrayal of any canidate. Media tends to sway their presentation of facts according to how they want one to believe. I will research each and make an account according to my thoughts. Not according to others.

I worry that her inexperience may prove to be over her head. It's not like we are asking her to co-ordinate snacks for the soccer team, we are asking her to be second in command and have a large influence on the protection of our country.
However, this same inexperience may prove to be an ACE in the hole. This may prove to her advantage. I just don't believe that MC will truly listen to what she has to say. Ultimately, MC will do what he wants and probably listen to no one.

So, rest my concerns with Palin, tell me why you like her?

she has most def got me listening.

and ummm being a mom is a perfectly good qualification for president. not that i would want to do it, but i think a mom could.

Moms Rock!

i haven't 100% decided yet but i have been leaning towards McCain for a while now...

I know a lot of people who are excited about her...

She has been getting lots of coverage here cause we are a swing state. I like her, cause she will have a son in Iraq, she chose NOT to abort a baby that is disabled. While she may not have all the political savy of a seasoned politition, she seems to stand her ground. Living so close to Russia, she doesnt want war with them. Lastly, my friend lives in Alaska, and I talked to her about what she thought... she was greatly in favor...

I have some doubts as well. Heard some of her interview with Charlie Gibson.....and I just dont' know. I have so many feelings on the issue.....I need to do a post of my own. I have a little clip on my blog till I can sit down and put some thought into what I want to say. I have a feeling it's going to be a long one.

I love that there's a conservative woman in politics making changes and waves. Seems like someone I'd like to hang out with. But I don't know that she's the best choice to run the country should something happen to McCain.

I like her because she quit a position to take on corruption in her own party. That takes a lot of character and guts. There is a lot on the line in this election. One that the Spirit really has to be by our sides helping us make a very difficult decision.

Inexperience? Yes, but she has five kids! That prepares you for a lot. I don't know what to think as of yet, but there is a lot I like. m

So funny, I just had to come over and read again, i do not know much about the race, but I do know this.... Look it up....

Everyone is concerned that she doesn't have enough experience to be Vp...

Obama who is running for #1 spot, has as little experience as her...

Hmmmm think about it ;)

I like her because:

She has the highest approval rating of any governor, last I heard it was 95% (if her peeps are happy with her that tells a LOT)

She is a family "woman" who chose not to abort a knowingly disabled child. (let's hear it for someone that UNDERSTANDS special needs in the big house..well, the big WHITE house)

She is a class act that does what she believes in and doesn't cater to special interest groups.

And on a lighter note:
Check her out! She's gorgeous...I'd rather look at her for the next for years than some stuffy old Biden.

At first I was against her. Because I thought for one political women must all be like Hellary... But now with what I have seen & heard I really like her. I love that she doesn't seemed shook up at all with all the critcs.
I agree - I SO Wanted Romney to win though. I was so sad when he pulled out of the race. I was praying somehow he'd win.

I like her hair.

But really...I love that she's a mom, started her political life as PTO President, and has the courage to fire people she thinks are doing a good job.

I've never cared so much about VP's in my life. She's got me interested again.

I wasn't really a McCain supporter, but I started listening since he picked Sarah. The big thing that caught my attention is that she is a working Mom, and since I am a working Mom it would be an advantage to have someone who understands my concerns up there, even if she's not exactly the prez. She's a little too far to the right in my opinion on some issues, but I can overlook some things if she addresses those that are truly important to me. As for the experience thing, she is running for #2 and she has more executive experience than Obama who is running for #1.

Great post! Thanks for providing a forum to discuss Sarah.

i love her! she has actually been in charge of a budget. she has great ideas. she knows what real people want and how real people live. she's not some lifetime politician with with no clue about how real people live. and struggle , and raise kids. she knows she does it. she's cute and funny, and has won my vote. i was struggling with voting for McCain. but seriously she has won my vote. i secretly wished for Mitt, but i think this move will actually win the white house.

I like the sheer gusto that she has...and I love the validation I feel as a SAHM....I could SO be the vicepresident...it's not all about being a career politician or about education...it's about loving your country and your countrymen and being a wise decision maker....I want HER to be the President.
