BLOGCATION

It looks I'm on a blogcation! Our lives have become terribly busy. Dash is a beast in soccer. He made the ALLSTAR team and he is also in TWO tournaments.
He plays THREE games on Saturdays. He has also been targeted for a developmental challenge team. We are all excited since Dash has never played soccer before and learned the rules and drills this season. He truly is a natural at sports. He has such great body control and abilities. It is a gift from God. I hope he can use it well. We are in town after Thanksgiving because Dash has a game the Friday after at 10am. HELLO, SHOPPING people!!! I will be missing this game. I will be sending Mr. Incredible and the children well equipped with video and cameras. So, I can relive the moment with them when Dash SCORES!

Warrior and his HS football team have made it to conference! It looks like we may have to stay here for Thanksgiving because they play the Friday after Thanksgiving. Doesn't anyone care that it is BLACK FRIDAY!! The biggest shopping day of the year??
I am so astonished that the phrase "Black Friday" is still allowed and politically correct. No one has taken issue or offense to that?? :: Seriously, amazed::

His team if they continue to play strong and consistent have the potential to take ALL STATE! That would be such an award for him, especially since this is his senior year. He plays both sides of the ball. Yeah, he is that good but mostly there is no one to execute better. It would have been nice to play just defense.

He made all conference again this year. He was the only player to recieve a UNANIMOUS vote by all coaches in their Conference! It can't be announced publicly until all conference games have been played. So, SHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... if you know us!

Beauty has been busy every night with the HS Girls Basketball. She isn't a player but they invited her out to be a manager. She is enjoying this time and she now gets home after 6.

Sweetheart is not in anything currently, which makes my heart sing. She did not want to do indoor soccer. All four of my children are in now in church YM/YW, Achievement days and Scouting. It would be nice if they would keep it on the SAME night as planned and the SAME location. Some nights we have all 4 going in seperate locations. GRRRrrrrrrr.... frustrating! I wish our ward would SPLIT! Gone are the days that I could just drive to church and have them pile out and go.

Mr. Incredible has been traveling a bit more and is having to be out of town, which isn't so incredible! :so sad:

I have picked up extra hours whenever I am sure that Mr. Incredible can be with the children. I am trying to keep everyone's schedules straight and cooking dinners. So, please forgive me for not stopping by your blog or posting to my own!
I also have pumpkin pumpkins to can and store for food storage a long with 2 bushels of apples to can and bake and freeze for food storage! I have to get to those before they go bad!

You know, you guys remind me so much of this family in our ward. They are involved in EVERYTHING, and even the two older girls in my YW class look just like your daughter it's CRAZY.

Isn't this time with your kids wonderful, though?! It definately wears a mom out, but it's great (as long as you get a break every once in while - for sure!)

Go go go Dash and Warrior!

I know what you mean about having the activities all on the same night. It'd be so nice for our family time if we could do it all at once and then be free for the rest of the week to spend together!!!

I got me 6 and the oldest three keep me hoppin' so much it's a DARN good thing I didn't have them all within a year of eachother or I'd be in the looney bin by now. I had a break between the two sets of 3 kids and I'm very glad that I did!

I just learned to can meat(which I just blogged about) and hope to learn fruits and veggies and freezer jams soon. Such a great thing to know!

Take it easy and enjoy your blogcation!

It's never ending... and as they get older the more hectic it seems to get. Thank you for living your life well... you're giving me a sneak peek of what lies ahead for my 'ohana. I'll start practicing my deep breathing so I don't hyperventilate when my time comes.

After reading your last two posts, I'm realizing that you don't sleep much. When we used to have our late night phone calls, it was later there than here. How many hours a night do you sleep? Are you secretly a Cullen?

Sounds like you have a good excuse(s) to me. We all have times that our lives get away from us and teach us that there is more to life than the blog world. Good luck to all your beautiful and talented kids!
Happy Thanksgiving! (I shop black friday too.)

Girl, it sounds like you are busy, busy!!!
I'm feeling like I'm on a blogcation lately too. I had lots of work last week, and my family is in town this week, so I'm spending lots of time with them and not nearly as much on the computer.
My google reader is piling up.

You're kids are FANTASTIC!!!
