1. I love to get up bright and early with the anticipation of getting the best deals on things.
2. I love the feeling of knowing that I got one of the last items that was on my list. If I get there and there are plenty. I don't feel as satisfied. I love that I found one of the last games that was on my list. That I hid a kitchen item under a table skirt until I was certain I wanted to buy it!
3. I love the hustle and the bustle of mingling and being among people scurrying for items. I don't mind someone grabbing the same item I have and then graciously giving it up. I DO MIND if you CUT IN LINE!
4. I love getting a starbucks and drinking it while rushing down the aisles.
5. I love feeding off of others who have items in their baskets that I would never even think about purchasing, but because they have it. I have to have it too.
6. I love coming back to the house and waiting for the prices to go back up and see the money I have saved.
7. I love shopping on Black Friday because I absolutely like the frenzy. I also like being around aquaraium tanks when its time to feed fish. I like the anticipation.
8. I like reaching for an item and someone else reaching for the same item and hearing her say, "OH, do you want that?" Because really there was nothing out there that I absolutely needed.
9. I like hearing the bell ringers out. I like purchasing a "HOT DOG" from a hot dog vendor on the side walk. I look forward to that. Sadly, my vendor was not there this year.
10. I love coming back with a car packed full of presents. It is the only day of the year that I mass shop like that. For the rest of the year I will be shopping a little here and a little there.
11. I love looking for a parking spot that is close. I like the hunt of watching people exit stores and stalking their parking places.
12. I love going up to total strangers and asking them for their buggys while they are in the check out lane.
13. I love asking people for their flyers when they are in the check out lane and then excitedly running through the store to see what still awaits my hands!
14. I LOVE BLACK FRIDAYS! despite the little annoyances. I LOVE LOVE IT!!! A true black friday shopper must go with a set frame of mine. KNOW when to back down when you need to and KNOW when to stand when you need to.
15. Say a prayer before you head out. A prayer to help you find the things you need to find and to be at rest when you don't. WE are to be prayerful over every thing. It works!

Oh MG, I will say it again! You are one amazing woman! I don't think I could last two seconds on there with all of that. You got a better attitude than I do about it. I stay at home in my nice little bed on my laptop and shop at peace online. No one to fight with, no one to push, no parking places to find, no bells ringing, no bugging hunting, and drinking all the hot chocolate I want all by my lonesome!

I love Black Fridays too. I get to stay in my Pj's all day and shop on line. I really am a stay at home from the crowds girl. But I think you make it sound fun :)

Like Jan and CJ, I'm an on-line shopper too. And there was nothing in the ads that I needed. I knew if I went out, I'd end up buying things just because they were good deals, not because I needed them. However, I will go out sometimes the day after Christmas and get deals on Christmas decor and for my anniversary in Jan. But Black Friday for me means staying home a decorating for Christmas. I'm glad you got some deals and had fun even thru it all.

Oh, I love it too! I shopped 21 hours for the 12th year in a row with 3 girlfriends! Another year of shopping gone! It's always sad at the end of the day BUT I could not wait to get to bed! Glad you loved it and had fun! xoxo Keli

you are CRAZY!!! i would never (and have never) gone shopping on black friday. i don't do crowds or frenzy...that sounds like a nightmare start to finish. all of the reasons you like it are the same reasons i wouldn't like it. how weird is that? we have stuff in common, but are opposites on that one!!!and i'd probably buy way more junk that i should so i wouldn't actually save money! i just know it. i mean just because it's on sale doesn't mean you saved money if you didn't plan to buy it in the first place, LOL.

I super love black friday too! I can't wait till my baby gets older so I don't have to rush back home to her to nurse her in the midst of our shopping frenzy.
Oh how much I love Black Friday. Getting to the store at 4am to lay a map of where I will be first when the air horn blows at 5am. I love reassuring those first year shoppers w/ shear terror in their eyes when the frenzy begins. I love being done shopping in time to take something home to my hubby and the kiddos. And I can not wait until my daughter is old enough to enjoy it with me.
My youngest daughter wanted to do Black Friday, but I don't like the hustle and bustle. But to have a real Black Friday we would have to go to Las Vegas or Northern Utah. Our city isn't much like that. I've actually only seen such things on tv. It's good that you gear up and are prepared.
OH i LOVE LOVE black friday shopping for lots of the same reason. i also like knowing I HAVE MASTERED IT! i can hack it . and LOVE it which is rare i find. only certain people thrive off the chase and the hunt and the crowds. others cower in fear.

I have to say "hats off to you" for fighting with all those people on black Friday. My girls and I went last year for the first time in years. Stood in line for almost 2 hours to check out! Sorry it's back to online shopping again this year!!

I never venture out on Black Friday...love my bed and money too much.
It's also TOOO dangerous. I am not tough enough. Did you hear about that Wal Mart worker in NY that got trampled to DEATH this year.
