TODAY!!!

Today...............

I AM NOT
1. I am not waking up before 5am.
2. I am not staying home to Facebook or Blog.
3. I am not working
4. I am not doing yard work

Today............

I AM

1. I am going visiting teaching
2. I am perusing stores
3. I am cleaning my home
4. I am researching material to teach a class on BLOGGING!(just because I blog doesn't make me an expert)

But the best news is....
Mr. Incredible flew out to Chicago for a job interview all expenses paid. The possible career move would bring us to MICHIGAN! (are you kidding me?) BRrrrrrrr.
Good luck honey, Godspeed.
I have to give a class on BLOGGING at church! DOES anyone have any ideas I can do or say or tricks of the blog! Please help a girl out!
I am doing well. Almost 3 wks of unemployment and we have had many good leads come our way. A few nibbles but things look very promising. We are really hoping that this one company comes through. It would allow us to stay in Charlotte or move wherever we wish. Benefits are perfect and salary is an increase! It would also be a resume' builder. Meaning it would be an advantage if Mr. Incredible had this on his resume.

But, I have found balance between work and family. I have found a schedule that works for me. I have great co workers and friends and who truly care and will do anything they can to help me out. I am not worried. I am mindful of things we spend our money on but we are not in a frenzy over anything.

Mr. Incredible said, "I guarantee you I will have a job by SEPTEMBER"
mouth gaping open stunned, as I quickly processed how many months that would be, shot back, "I guarantee you by APRIL we will living in the streets?"

We then both laughed and he realized he didn't mean SEVEN MONTHS!!
Something will come open for us, I know it. We might have to take a stepping stone company before the perfect company comes along. I know they are just waiting for him and we are just waiting for them. The journey and task is that we are doing our part to bring us to that path.

I love your picture! You have the best smile EVER!

You have a great attitude too. My hubbies job is hanging by a thread and he will either lose his job or be working in another state for months at a time. blech. It gets me stressed at times but mostly I'm thankful that for NOW he's employed and that NOW we can be frugal and take steps to make things easier in case the ax does fall.

Thanks for being such a positive example!

Oh how exciting for you! They must be serious about him to fly him out, all expenses paid!!! Let us know how that goes!!~

As far as blogging tips...I've read somewhere before that to have a somewhat successful blog, you should post pictures, have semi-entertaining personality, be truthful, and be yourself!!! Hey..sounds like YOU, right??

What a great day!!

I've helped a few people in my ward set up a blog. I'd be sure to show them how easy it is through blogger. People also seemed to be concerned with making it cute. Show them how easy it is to change colors, and I'd mention cutest blog on the block or leelou blogs -- cute, free, easy layouts. Show them how to move pictures in a post, and how to make words a link. Talk about HTML stuff in the side bar. And how to imbed a video from youtube.

Just a few thoughts that I'm sure you've already had. :o) Good luck!

Much luck with the interview! We lived outside Chicago for about 5 years and loved it. Chicago is one of our favorite places. It is such a blessing that you share with us so we can see the Lord's blessings in your life. Thanks so much.

PS I love your picture too! Your smile is beautiful and welcoming.

I hope you had fun today & that your class went well. I am sure it did..
I've never been to Chicago or NC actually.. I'd say check out AZ but jobs aren't good here..
Great balance!
