Happy 13th Baby Girl

On Feb. 9th my youngest daughter stepped into being a teenager! We had such an amazing day. Her birthday fell on a weekday so she could celebrate with only one close friend. Sweetheart wanted a big birthday party and wanted to invite boys. But, as her special day approached her feet got cold and she decided for more presents and no friends. She even chose to have her special dinner at home. (as a side note she has only had two big birthday bashes. One when she was 4 and the other when she turned 8, so she is due a birthday bash.

Her room was decorated with streamers and balloons. She had friends dropping off gifts throughout the day.

She had her requested birthday dinner. WE had made from scratch chicken alfredo, caesar salad, fresh baked rolls, and her own birthday goblet and sparkling cider.

Then we had birthday cake. Which I will never buy a cake or anything from Sarah's bakery in Chesterfield. We threw half a cake of each in the trash! BLEH, puke, NASTY!!! and to think I paid $28 for two 5 inch rounds, undecorated! I'm just saying. See, it pays to be prepared. I ran out of time to make her a cake. I had spent the entire day shopping! Her friend Abby decorated the cakes with some tube frosting.

But she did have some fun gifts to open. She wanted her room re-decorated.

Then she opened an Ed Hardy shirt

Followed by a True Religion skirt

But her most favorite gift hands down was from her daddy. She got an ultra small, smaller
than an Ipad, fits in my purse computer! It's pretty sweet and I think I have claimed it. (That is when she's not home and needing it).

So, we wish you a very happy 13th birthday and pray that you go easy on your old parents, through your teenage years! and she's wearing new buckle jeans, she had a new shirt on until she stole that shirt from school today! She has to be up at 5am so I placed her outfit outside her door, so I could get some shut eye.

Each day you continue to grow into a beautiful young woman! You have a beautiful smile and personality.

My heart breaks if ever you are sad and I would do anything to keep that smile on your face. Our family is complete because you are in it! Thank you for being such a good daughter, sister, and friend.
