BYU Lacross in STL

PhotobucketSweetheart has taken up lacross and likes it, ok. She doesn't love it. She really enjoys playing soccer. I believe the main reason why she doesn't love it is, because most of the girls are older than she. She is in the 7th grade and because Lacross is a city team all of their games are on Sunday! Which really stinks like a rotten egg. We have encouraged her to play and get to know the game because when she is in 9th grade she will be able to play on the school team. She wants to play in the games and not just be out there practicing.

BYU girls lacross came out to play in a tournament against the top 10 teams in the country. They played against Michigan and Minnesota and won both of those. I believe Minnesota was to be their toughest rival. They played against LSU which is a private Methodist school and they loss. They should have had that, though. Linwood University is quite an impressive campus. There must be a lot of wealthy alumni that are very generous.

WE had a great night showing our support. We were a lone voice but we were loud!

Go BYU! It is always fun to go support BYU.

Lacross is not that popular here. Although I did take note that our city just started a league.

I have a grandson who plays Lacross. He loves it.

Kids and sports seem to compliment each other. They can learn a lot of important lessons.

Way to go BYU!!
