I received the most wonderful news this morning from my dad. He called to let me know that I am a new Aunty! I am so excited! I have been in much anticipation for his arrival! He is only a few hours old in these pictures. The miracle of life never ceases to amaze me. Just moments ago in this picture he was with our Father in heaven. God, has once again shown his divinity in sending us a precious little gift, so perfect. Thank you Heavenly Father for seeing Noah here safely. I am so excited for them. Mom and baby are all doing well. He is 20.5 inches long and weighs right at 7lbs. 90z. Kalena, his big sister has been waiting a long time to see him. His name is Noah Eaton. The verdict is still out on what his Hawaiian middle name will be. It seems so odd that my baby brother has a baby boy of his own. Jeff, and I are 6 years apart. I can remember when my mom went to the hospital to have Jeff. My grandparents were in from Hawaii and I remember going to the hospital to see this little baby. I was so shocked to see how hairy he was! LOL, He was born early and I remember thinking to myself, he looks like a monkey! Memories of my little brother. I also remember him being almost a year old and I wanting to change his diaper for my mom but the little "snot" wouldnt stay still! It so happened it was a "dirty" and even though I was trying to help my mom out, she wasn't very appreciative of my failed efforts. One last memory down memory lane. My parents have always owned a boat. My dad would flit between having a big boat with sleeping space for 6-10 people to a speed boat. He wanted the best of both worlds. Well, this year happened to be a year when we had a boat called the Love Bug or Love Boat. ::sinility has sunk in, already:: It was a large wooden chriscraft. I remember Jeff being less than a year old so that would put me at 6 or 7. It was the summertime. He was born in October so, he had to be about 9 to 10 months. I decided I would take Jeff out of his playpen and play with him. WE got sandy and I figured I would take him in the lake with me and rinse off. He seemed to love the water so much that I decided I would play with him. I went out about chest or waist high in water and faced him towards me and we started bobbing in the water. There we were bobbing up and down and he had smiles of delight and squeels of happiness. Well, one of those bobs that slippery little snot slipped right out of my hands! SHOCKED SCARED AND SURPRISED, I quickly grabbed him to see if he was ok. There he was just floating face down and I grabbed him quickly looked into his big brown eyes and he had NO SIGNS of water damage or recollection that he should not have been face down in the water. LOL, funny now but scary then because I know both of my parents would have beat me senseless. LOL, so that has been my little secret for about 31 years. I did say no signs of water damage the verdict is still out on signs of brain damage. LOL, ( you know i love ya Jeff) Congratulations on the birth of your son. I am sure Princess Kalena will have many memories of her own now that she is the BIG SISTER! I cant wait to go home and meet this little guy and snap some pictures of him.
