Something about chocolate but it brings lots of helpers in the kitchen.

Sunday dinners are always a big deal at our home. We have church in the afternoon at 1:00. This is a typical Sunday morning in the Incredible house. Everyone sleeps in late, 8am. Mr. Incredible and I are always left alone to slumber. The children don't seem to bombard or storm into our bedroom on this day. It is almost a memory of what life was like before kiddos. Then we are shockingly thrown back into reality when we hear somebody fighting with somebody. Usually, it is Warrior aggravating anyone who is near him and once he successfully annoys (loves) them to tears he then moves onto his next victim. ( I say love, because I know he just loves them and doesn't feel comfortable just going up and hugging and kissing them so he must poke, pinch, prod, punch (any word that begins with P, to show his adoring love) I did mention that my head is buried in the sand and I like to keep it there, didn't I) Mr. Incredible, has always made our sunday dinners and breakfasts. I get the day off! Mom does all the cooking through the week and I get Sunday off. We had started this forever ago and I am very appreciative of it.
This morning we had FRENCH TOAST!! It was sooo yummy! I had bought Texas Bread, NO, not the texas garlic toast, but the extra fat slices of bread. They are the size and thickness of 2 or 3 slices of bread! They are perfect for french toast! Mr. Incredible had pulled out the meat for dinner tonight before we had gone to church. I was fine with just having the leftover chicken soup for dinner. Why not? there is more than enough. We had chicken and steak fajitas! He had marinated the chicken in Italian dressing and marinated the beef in a marinade that we made up, soy sauce etc, etc. Everyone gets home and they change clothes and we grab something quick to eat to tie us over and then TODAY! EVERYONE PITCHED in with dinner. It was beautiful. It was awesome. Beauty prepard the peppers and onions.
Mr. Incredible prepared the meat and Warrior and Dash and Sweetheart cleared the table and cleaned the counters. I then cleaned up all the dinner mess so that Sweetheart could make brownies for dessert.

Do the seasonings of your chicken fajitas taste like a Mexican Resturant fajita? We have been desperate to make real tasting fajitas at home!
I dont care for true mexican flavor. I like the Tex Mex flavor. We have a few authentic mexican restraunts and I have been tainted and spoiled by Taco Bell and other Tex Mex style sit down restraunts like On The Border, El Chico's etc. I do like authentic El Salvadorian food, and peruvian foods. For the chicken all Bill did was marinate in Italian dressing. The beef was a different mixture and I think we just sprinkled the vegetables with McCormicks fajita seasonings.
yummy
