WARTS WARTS WARTS

!
Dash did not go to school on Wednesday because he had a doctor's appointment to have a wart removed from his leg. He had actually had this wart for quite some time and Bill had tried the home over the counter meds and froze it off and it grew back. Only this time the wart looked exactly like an arm in the flex position. It was weird looking and quite ugly. I had wished I took a picture of it previously. WE went to the doctors and she burned it off. She worked on it quite a bit. He was a little uncomfortable but did so well. Dash has a really really high pain tolerance level to the point where it can be detrimental or dangerous. We will have to watch this. I attribute it to being born premature. Premature babies are stuck and prodded and jabbed etc, countless of hundreds of thousandths of times. Yeah, you get the picture. ANY WAY!!! She decided to stop the application because a big circle of redness had started around the wart area. Approximately an inch in circum.
We were told to watch it, if it oozed or pussed we should call. IT kept growing and blistering but we kept it clean and doctored. He was out playing and scraped the entire thing off of his leg! UGhhhh..... It now looks like this
Say "you're welcome" He was in so much pain a few hours afterward that he did not go to school. I was actually getting quite worried. The doctor said he could have some pain medicine or children's tylenol but he refused! He would not take medicine to help him. He felt that he could tolerate the pain. (he is like me, in this regard). That's the news for Dash this week.

UGH, Warts are the worst. Harrison is covered with them. They get burned off and they just grow back! He has one on his little toe that is so big he can't wear some shoes because they rub it. It is like a 6th toe!

His doctor says it is just a virus and that eventually the skin would just absorb it again. I had asked if it were a virus is there something that I could add or change to his diet that would counter act this. (she didnt have a clue) I am sure if I did an internet search I could find something that might help dietary wise. Anyway, put duct tape around his toe. Aden had a really bad one on his toe and we wrapped it for days. It fell right off. The duct tape suffocates the wart. Fair warning: It will stink something awful.
