Steve's Fish Camp
Makela went to a middle school combined dance activity and Spencer and Aden went to a High school basketball game. Apparently, Aden has become quite a crowd pleaser and he performs in front of the crowd "souja boy". WE heard of this at a previous game that Aden and this other little boy had a dance off and Aden got some money. I was like, Oh yeah, whatever. Friday night they come home and Spencer tells us that Aden had danced again and had the home crowd cheering and clapping for him. I tell you this boy is not shy when it comes to performing. Bill, Kai and I we decided to try out this restaurant. It is Called Steve's Fish Camp! For years people have been telling us to go there. I have always been leary about 1. fish camps. (coming from the North, fried fish camps just is not a visual I can wrap my brain around) 2. I was picturing Waffle house. (dirty grungy and greasy) 3. It is a Southern thing and 4. I don't really care for catfish. All of these things said. I am so going back there the next chance I get. 1. The restaurant was spotless! I did not go to the bathroom. I usually check that out first when we visit a new restaurant. 2. The hush puppies were fantastic 3. The batter for all of the foods was so light and clean looking. It was clear that they change out their oil quite frequently. 4. All of the fish the meat was so white. 5. The platters are HUGE! with a capital H! I mean huge! 6. Service by far was excellent. It was the best service we have had anywhere and we eat at some fancy schmancy places, and these guys are clearly above the rest. 7. Good food, good service, and a good price 8. They have other items on the menu if you do not care for seafood 9. The king crab legs were gigantic and Bill could not help staring at the man across from us! He could not believe the portions you receive for the cost. 10. WE will definitely be back.
