Temple Blessings

Thursday night the youth had went to the Columbia, SC to the temple to do baptisms. What a wonderful opportunity it is for them to take advantage of temple blessings at such a young age and to give such a great service. Mr. Incredible chaperoned this trip and was able to perform in some of the ordinances. Warrior, Beauty and Mr. Incredible were able to go. I soo, wished I could have gone with them. I have yet to attend the temple where both of my children were able to go. I got to stay home with the younger two. While we were home I wanted the family to come home to a more pleasant atmosphere. I also wanted to do something special with the little ones. I knew that the half of our family would be coming home on a spiritual high and feeling the spirit very strongly. I didn't want them to lose that feeling and wanted to keep the feeling that they would bring home in our home longer. No outside noises like media, or fighting. I had talked to the children at home what I wanted to accomplish and if they would help me. WE had a wonderful time at home. WE tidied the house and we just enjoyed the company of each other. WE were happy and content. WE then decided to decorate our cookies. I bought a cookie kit with food coloring markers. WHAT FUN WE HAD!!! (btw, the cookies were nasty) We decided that we would make our own cookies and decorate them. I like these edible markers. They are pretty cool! The family returned home safe and sound. I am so thankful for the temple and the blessings that it offers to all. The children did not want to go out to eat. Which was a HUGE surprise to me. Dash and Sweetheart requested grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup! Can I ask for a more perfect meal? Notice the throw away plates they are using! Yep, we had a temple perfect night too! They didn't want to dirty up the kitchen. :sigh: Life is bliss.

Your such a good mommy! That is the sweetest thing.
I guess if we had that every night we wouldn't know how great it was!
