BI-LO environmental Bags

Oh my goodness, I just bought one of these bags to give it a try. They come to .91 per bag and each time you use this bag you get .5cents off your grocery bill. Look how much it holds. We just went shopping again today and bought 2 more of these bags. It holds 2 to 3 plastic bags worth of food. There is no fear of your bag tearing. We had 4- 2liter sodas, 4 cans, 2 large yogurt containers, peppers, onions and 3lbs of roast beef, plus a few odds and ends in one bag. I am sure I could probably make one of these bags; but really, why bother? When we go grocery shopping we usually end up with 30 plastic bags! In Martha Stewart's words..."It's a good thing".

seriously, check out all that junk food! It was 10 for $10. These are snacks for school and just snacks in general. They do eat veggies and fruit. I have a LOT of those too.

I just saw a man buying very similar bags at the Food City here. I wondered why (I hate to admit, I am not much of an environmentalist, I know, I know, I'm evil) But, I just thought that you should know with the "no tearing" and stuffing everything in one bag, you have sold me...anything to save extra trips to and from the car.
