First we had to quickly make up our passports.
(sorry had to delete passports gave true identities!)
The passports were handed out and they went through immigration and then were asked to head out to AIRINCREDIBLE, aren't the rims pretty fly?? OOPS, my bad. You can't see the rims. But, trust me. They are fly! (yeah, I know it's a dated term but work with me here)
On INCREDIBLEAIR you have first class seating. No beverages served.
Coach class seating. Look how miserable the passengers are. Maybe, they ought to consider serving beverages??
LOOK here, we climbed the AZTEC Temple
WE did it, Look how happy we are!
When we got to the streets of Mexico they were all paved with cobblestone. It is so nice.
As in Puerto Rico there are vendors all over the streets beckoning you to come in and barter with them.
I wanted to educate ourselves about the country we are about to visit. Just a little info on Mexico.
Mexico Is a country in north america and the largest Spanish-speaking country in the world. It also has the largest number of American Indian language speakers on the continent (the majority speaking Nahuatl, Mayan, Mixtec and Zapotec). For thousands of years, Mexico was a land of hunter-gathe rers. Around 9,000 years ago, ancient Mexicans domesticated corn and initiated an agricultural revolution, leading to the formation of many complex civilizations.
Such fine workmanship
dulceria -means candy store
This was an amazing soccer store! It has everything
This play area is huge and it goes all the way up to the ceiling
Look we even met an authentic Mexican. Isn't she beautiful? I forgot what city she is from but it happens to be the most beautiful. That would be the area I want to visit when we really do go. This is Joanna, she is our neighbor of 11 years and she works in one of the shops.
WE had a lot of fun visiting this little haven. I tried to make it really exciting. This place is exciting. There is authentic food and pastries. You literally feel like you are walking in another country. There are many brown faced people and they all speak Spanish. I felt like I needed my passport. It was very interesting and fun and the people of Mexico are very inviting and friendly. They love for you to get to know their culture.
For three centuries, Mexico was colonized by Spain, during which time the majority of its indigenous population died off. Formal independence from Spain was recognized in 1821. France then invaded Mexico in 1864 and ruled briefly until 1867. A war with the United States ended with Mexico losing almost half of its territory in 1848 and the Mexican Revolution would later result in the death of 10% of the nation's population. Since then, Mexico as a nation-state has struggled with reconciling its deeply-entrenched indigenous heritage with the demands of the modern Western cultural model imposed in 1519. The nation's name is derived from the Mexican civilization (known in popular culture as the Aztecs).

We've been to Mexico a few times this year and it is always a fun trip. My kids love the playplace. I personally love the chorro's and the dulceria. We've never been asked for our passports but I'll make sure we have them next time, just in case.
You are so creative! I don't have have the energy for all that! You are so good at creating experiences and memories for your children!
