***THANKFUL THURSDAY***

Working for the airlines I frequently have many of our military troops come through my gate and board my flights. I always give them the opportunity to board first as a thank you and in appreciation. If possible we try to upgrade them or we try to get them out on an earlier flight. I am so grateful to our armed forces who protect my rights and give me the peace that I have to sleep at night and to attend my children's ballgames and to lay next to my husband in the safety of our home.
At times, I feel awkward and want to express my thanks and gratitude to them and how I deeply feel but something holds me back. Sometimes, I will connect and extend my appreciation for them. I found this video and I love it and will do it more often.
Please click here and watch. It does not matter what your political stance is. What matters is that we are all appreciative for the freedoms that we have. They do not come free and without a price. The price has been paid by the fullest sacrifice that can be given.

Yup, I love our military people. I always think, "Man, if I didn't have kids, I'd join right up!" And then I'm reminded that there ARE moms, fighting for my right o be a ... Mom!
