LOOK what the RAIN brought in

With the thunder storms the rains brought to us a scared little golden retriever. Warrior was getting into his truck to pick Beauty up, she was swimming. As he opened his truck door this little fur ball ran right up to him. He brought fur ball to our front door and in she bolted, right into the loving paws of a 170 pound mastiff.
It was love at first sight. Kekoa was a perfect playmate for his newly found friend. WE rolled up all floor rugs because I didn't want any unfortunate accidents. I kept a constant watch out the window for anyone who would be missing Goldie. I called Mr. Incredible and told him of our new found furry friend. He informed me who the puppy belonged to. It is a friend of the children. Puppy obviously got out of the fenced in yard. I am glad she got to stay with us because she was quite terrified of all the new sounds and lightning that the storm had brought in. I know that storms can actually traumatize puppies for life if they are not taught or shown that storms are ok. I brought her and my big beast back outside after the rains let up so that she would know and feel that we were not scared and it was ok.
This puppy was very much like my own Beast. I fell in love with her instantly. She followed me around like a "lost puppy" and where ever I sat, she sat too. If I walked she walked. Remember I have a 170 pound shadow. He was quite willing to share. He sat by my feet and she sat in my lap. Her owners came to pick her up, after I gave her a bath and dried her. I can't have a smelly wet dog in my castle.

As I was reading I was in suspense, wondering if you were going to give up the kids friends doggie, or if they'd just have to come visit at your house. Cute pup.

I wrote A, because I am too lazy to type out his entire name. I also will type first initials if I want to protect identity. But in A's case. It was 90%laziness

That is a very cute dog. My kids wouldn't have let it go back to its house! Funny what the rain can bring in!
