WE were invited to travel to Asheville. Our breeder was having a get together for her most recent litter. It was so good to see how our brute had fared with the rest of his litter. There were plenty of games to be played and many prizes to be won.
One contest was where one owner was the show dog and the other the handler.

I had to walk him in a ring and then trot him. We were judged on how well he OBEYED.
Need I say more?? He kept knocking into me, tongue out and flopping on his back begging for his belly to be rubbed. He was quite comical!
Then came time for the judge to walk around my "dog". She checked his eyes, ears, mouth and everything a dog judge would check. She commented that he must be a great stud since he had 3 children where he PROUDLY proclaimed he has FOUR! We were the only people there with children except for the neighbor boy who came over.
Last but not least we had to pose. My children did quite well capturing the moment on camera but they missed my all time winning pose. I mounted Mr. Incredible and slapped his gorgeous derrier and shouted YEEHAW! WE took the grand prize for that!

::phew:: I need to fan myself down and go get a cold drink because just reminiscing has sent my body temperature up a few degrees! Yes, I definitely feel my temperature rising.
Let me cool down with some good old country music!
Definitely, I can feel my temperature returning back to normal.
I may lose the respect of some of you but I'm just keepin' it real! This is our life and this is our humor. I think I feel my temperature rising.....
