OUR GUIDE__________________ THE POOR MOUSE____________EXPLORING

Taking a boat ride.(note the guide's face), Talking into a stagamite and hearing your voice echo on the other side. This is a mineral sieve. You take a pie tin of sand or dirt and let the water run over the pan and you can capture minerals and rocks.
While Mr. Incredible and family were in NY we decided that we would take the children to Howe Caverns. We recently started a new tradition where we would take full advantage of our trips to NY. I am not the kind of girl who particularly likes to go hiking into caves. I had the opportunity of chaperoning a high adventure trip to the caves located in upper TN, and I LOVED it. I would love to take my family camping in these caves in TN! It was that much fun!
Each time we would go home to visit. I would always remark we should go to Howes Cavern. We decided to do it this trip. We had everyone in tow. All the cousins and my brother and his girlfriend. We really had a good time.
I AM Sam blogged about our trip, you can read our account here. Everyone went to the gift shop and then we headed home.

It looks like so much fun. It makes me want to go to Timp caves, we've been talking about it for a few years now. I'm glad that you had so much fun.
Great fun, and I am in awe- with your photos, you are a great person, and a great photographer!!!!
Can I just tell you how beautiful your family is? My youngest daughter is adopted and she is half Tongan and DH and I LOVE the polynesian culture, so I felt a special connection to your blog. Thanks so much for sharing!
Hey, Mother Goose!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Welcome anytime! I love making new friends, especially fun friends with same beliefs. Your blog is so fun and your kids are beautiful!! Hope to hear from you often!
Mother Goose! I have to tell you how much I LOVE your idea of putting "For Time and Eternity" and mixing pics of the fam with the clock wall!!! YOU BETTER POST A PIC when you finish!!! LOVE THE IDEA!!!
What a fun time. I haven't been in a cave since I was a kid. I better get out exploring more often I guess.
i love it. every kid has to be dragged down through a cave at least once, for the memories. LOL i am always scared a little, that the cave will 'cave " in on us while we're in there. i look up at the rock overhead and wonder "why doesn't it just fall in on us?" i want to bring my kids to carlsbad caverns. i need to look it up, can't remember where it is but my parents brought us there when we were little, then again when we were older...i'll never forget that place. it was a cool cavern!
caves totally freak me out...I have never been in one, but I think I would have a panic attack!! the pictures are gorgeous though...and the haircuts in the post below..just adorable!!
I have something for you...come over and see!!
oh i forgot, you asked me about cade's cove...it is FREE. yep. 100% free. the only thing that costs money is staying at the campground- that costs $20 to pitch your tent and stay overnight. it is well worth the gas money to get there. the town of townsend is close-there are plenty of cabins, hotels, etc. around.
