A TWILIGHT JUNKIE

I reluctantly began reading the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyers. This post is prompted by Mandy, who has a friend who is an English teacher. I love the way her mind works. Please check her blogsite out. She is new to the blogging world. If you are into the Twilight Series and are up for some discusssions, CLICK HERE.
I was not immediately sold on the books. I had to be coerced into reading them. Then I was hopelessly addicted to them when I turned the last page of book one. In three days I had each of the books read and my two older children were reading them as well.
A few of us our going to camp out and stand in line at midnight in front of the book store in a few weeks! We are going to have a midnight book party. I think it will be so much fun! Bring a chair and munchies and chat with other TWILIGHT junkies! My ward has A LOT of women who are junkies.

Everyone seems to be into these books, must buy one, must read one.. Oh wait, I hate to read, the only thing I read is blogs, and photoshop info, and scriptures...

Sounds fun though!!

I think I am going to have to give in and join a book band wagon for the first time in my life...even my non-member friend blogged about this the other day.

I haven't even seen these books in person. I know everyone around me has read them and feast upon them. I haven't gotten the bug yet. Glad you found a like for them. That makes you one happening soul and once again, me out of the loop.

Enjoy the upcoming movies too.

How fun!! I briefly thought about planning my surgery on the release date for this book =)! Thanks so much for your comment on my blog - I truly appreciate your words and wisdom and am so grateful you took the time to share your experience with me. Thank you!

I've only read the first book - but very good! I have like 5 more in front of book 2. My daughter Larissa is OBSESSED with the books but mostly Edward. She has even made shirts about Twilight. Maybe I'll bump book 2 up a notch and read it earlier than expected.

That's funny, I knew you were Mothergoose, my fingers must have automatically typed it...sorry.

I'm going to the library today, I'll have to check these out, I've never heard of them before.

woo hoo for twilight junkies! i have only read about 1/2 of book 1, but kelley was so impatient for me to finish she broke down and told me everything! which was fine with me, i can't just sit and read all day with 3 small children running around =)

thank you so much for coming to kelley's blog! she needs our mormon opinions, since the author is obviously mormon, i have been asked question about our religion and how it may tie into the book... we have pretty fun discussions!

So much fun! I am so excited I can't stand it! You know how much of a junkie I am. I'm so ready. I always go to Walmart to get my books (I know, I really don't love Walmart, but I can get in and out so fast, and home to start reading!!!) I'll have to call you so we can dish when we are done. Yay!

this is too funny. i guess i better read books 2 and 3. i really liked book 1 for some unknown reason...it's really not my usual style but i did like it. weird. i actually had all 3 books (my niece loaned them to me) but i tried reading book 2 and i was just too busy. we were building our house at the time...so i passed the books along to my little sister and i think she passed them on to one of my other nieces....and now i may never get them back...ANYHOW- with all the raves i've heard maybe i better give them another try!
