Happy Birthday Beauty!

14 years ago the most beautiful perfect baby girl was born. Again, another difficult pregnancy but much better than the first. I was still on bed rest but we were able to deliver a very healthy happy baby girl, who was 2 wks. early but still considered term. Little did I know then that this was the only delivery that I would fully experience and she would be my only baby that would leave the hospital with me. What a great joy and experience it was to have a completely normal baby, not in the NICU or on feeding tubes or oxygen. She would be my only experience of what a healthy normal baby was.

As I look back and compare this perfect term baby to her premature siblings. I see so many similarities that her delivery would give prelude too. This is a daughter who loves to sleep in, she does not like to be poked or prodded. She likes to be pampered. She likes to do things in her own time. It is no wonder that she chose to stay in side, where it was safe, warm and eating was easy. She entered the world without a care and with the attitude, "I'm here, I'm beautiful take care of me."

I tend to tease Beauty and say she is my High Maintenance child because she likes everything just right. She is a perfectionist, another flaw that she has inherited from her mother. She has been "Daddy's Little Girl" from the beginning. When she was 3yrs old she would only answer if you called her Princess M******. Yes, I had a young diva in the making.

But what also was in the making was a beautiful daughter of God. She is virtuous lovely and of good report. I am always proud of Beauty. She has beauty and brains. She has been awarded countless awards and certificates for her writing. It is a true gift of hers.

Beauty often struggles that her gifts and talents are not easily seen. She does not care for sports, but she is competitive. She does not play an instrument but she has a beautiful voice. She is kind, loving and a loyal friend. She is extremely responsible.

FOURTEEN FABULOUS FACTS
1. Favorite drink is half lemonade half sprite
2. Favorite dinner is shrimp Alfredo
3. Favorite gum is 5 or stride
4. She is kind and giving
5. She is a loyal friend
6. She is sensitive
7. She loves to write
8. She is the fastest text messager this side of the mason Dixie line
9. She likes to bake
10. She has many friends
11. She is not prejudice
12. She is a perfectionist
13. She wants to be a writer and a veterinarian
14. She will start high school this year and is able to go to dances.

Beauty spent her 14th birthday at Myrtle beach with her friend and her family. She was there for almost a week and she came back nice and tan and very happy. She had a great time! My little girl is growing up.
When Beauty was young we would always go for lunch at new restaurants. We would sit for hours and I would listen to her tell me about the world through her eyes, she would share with me her thoughts about everything. Now, that she is older we have to make time for those special moments where we can just sit and enjoy each other or take a walk with each other. I love to spend time with her. I hope that she will always love to spend time with her.
My birthday wish for her is that Beauty would be able to see the wonderful beautiful young woman I see in her. I wish that she could see herself for what she truly is and that she would not be so reserved. She tends to think and over think a situation.

She is beautiful inside and out. What a girl. Love the picture of her all sprawled out on the white fluffy blanket. She does honor her womanhood it sounds like.

Glad she had fun at the beach. Happy Birthday M. You keep making your momma proud. And keep on baking. Your husband will love that. :)

What a gorgeous daughter you have! She's so much prettier and more photogenic than many girl models on magazines. And apparently blessed not just with talent but also with a fine character. What a credit to you and the great job you're doing. Happy birthday, Beauty! And have fun in high school.

Found you from Jennifer H and Alice blogs. You comment on them often. Alice seems to know you, I grew up with her. Thought I would check out your blog.

Love your blog. One reason is your the first blogger who I have run across with children about the same ages as mine. My daughter turns 14 next Monday. Seems to have alot of the same things in common as your daughter. Writing and desire to be a vet, and more.
