Manic Monday

OK, life has been a bit crazy going private then going public again. I figured I would do a manic run down on the things that we did and enjoyed this weekend.
It breaks my heart because there are no pics to share, but for printing purposes I must blog it.

Friday- cuz from NYC flew in to visit us and spend her b'day weekend! Tried to tidy and clean the house before she came but only accomplished half.
Cuzz missed first flight will be here 2 hours later. GREAT, more time, bad news missed her arrival time. Her flight arrived early and I was still 10 min out from the airport when she called! Sorry CUZ! ::shaka??::

Picked cuzz up, apologized profusely. ::kinda sorta:: Whisked her quickly to the stake center so we could help set up and serve for the missionary conference. Lunch was postponed 1 hour. We high tailed it outta there and headed to a BBQ place for lunch so she could have some Carolina BBQ

Bad, we got to talking story too long and were late arriving back to the zone conference. Good news arrived just in time for DESSERT! bad news, also stayed for clean up, GOOD news many blessings ahead. Shop at Sam's.

Friday night football game! woohoo, we won! we had a 30 point lead, that ended up being a win by the skin of our teeth. NOT good! Went home ate homemade chili after a football game. MMMMmmm... good. Stay up late we talk story.

SATURDAY- early morning soccer game for Dash. Mr. Incredible brought Dash out for his game. We were to follow shortly after. I made biscuits, eggs and bacon and Starbucks style HOT CHOCOLATE because I love hot chocolate and I love add in flavors. STINK- we were 15 minutes late, I forgot the camera.
Dash also has team pictures, worse news. I need to take pictures! Run home. grab camera, get to field NO battery in camera. DANG, other photog on field takes pics. missed opportunity.
immediately after that, go back home grab battery meet Mr. Incredible and kids at another park for Sweetheart's soccer game. Cuzz and Hubz are obnoxious side line fans. (said most lovingly) smooches, feel the love!! I slink deeper in chair. LOL
when your cuzz works for CNN and her father was her coach all throughout school, I guess its hard to just a quiet spectator.

Go out to eat at Maggios for Mr. Incredible's company dinner! YUMMY!! ohhh good. when my belly is happy all is good in the world. Dessert, cheese cake and tiramisu. Yep, I had both. I couldn't decide.
Saturday night everyone goes to bed except for cuzz and I. We talk long story! We laugh, we cry, we eat, we drink we talk more story. All the way to 5:15am. No laundry is done the entire weekend.

Sunday morning: Cuzz is up early. Sun shines through broken blind. So sorry! Conference weekend! Watched it while eating biscuits and cocoa! Prepared dinner. BBQ pork ribs, potato salad and ??
Intermission - break out the karaoke! oh yeah! sang myself horse. Conference back on again. Fell asleep the last hour. I was fighting hard but it all started sounding like Charlie Brown, so I succumbed and closed my eyes. We decide cuzz needs to head out on last flight to NYC! We leave for her 10pm flight!

I had so much fun with cuzz here! I hope she comes back again so we can talk story, again. I wanted her to talk full on pidgin with me. She can but she no feel comfortable. She stay scared, for shura. LOLL! I love her we had fun. NO PICTURES! I am hitting myself! She owes me one special peecha, and she knows what I'm talking about.

Just got the news my dad is coming into town. He is going to spend the night.

My mil is coming to town on Wed. she is bringing my niece and nephew with her. They will still till the weekend. We will have lots of guests this week.

Beauty will find out Wed. if she made Freshman Princess. Whether she makes it or not we still have to have a homecoming gown for her already bought.

Sweetheart has a huge project due on Friday. The research has been done for the project but final project has not been started.

I am working every day this week. JOY! I am worried about having the house clean, laundry caught up, food bought so we can eat, when am I going to cook, buy a prom dress, do a school project and run kids to soccer and play hostess. Oh well, all I can do is pray to accomplish the most important things and allow the rest to fall to the wayside.

Hope you have a great manic Monday.

Holy smokes! You are a busy gal. I felt out of breath reading this post! You have a busy life, a full life, a blessed life! Sounds like you are pretty close to your cousin. I can't say I have cousin who I'm close with that way, so I envy you kinda. Well, I hope all goes well in the next few days and you find time to breath and relax. I look forward to updates on Beauty and photos of homecoming night. I bet her gown is gorgeous.

Wow, you're a pretty busy person! I'm exhausted just reading your rundown. BTW, I've posted something today about the disappearance of the puzzling disappearance Blogstalker, who seems to have evaporated from Cyberspace. I notice that you're on his/her/its blogroll, so thought I'd touch base. Please drop by and weigh in on this mystery!

Whew! What a weekend. I spent the weekend doing laundry, catching up on house work. Moving 2 rooms around. (will post about it)

I love it when family gets together. Know how you feeling about keeping up and working. That is why I was doing Laundry. No one had clothing to wear on Saturday. My sweet 8 year old came in at bed time on Friday.'I have no pjs mommy". Wow...what planet have I been on! Then gave her a daddy size tee shirt to sleep in.

What a great time with your Cuz! Sounds like so much fun with little sleep..
I want to know how you make your Starbucks Cocoa. Not that we need cocoa yet when it
s still 96'. But ya know maybe one night in the next 4 months I could make some. Or I just thought. I could make some & go stand in the Frozen food section of Costco where they keep it 40'.. That's an idea!!
Have fun with all your guests coming. Thigs will work out with the cleaning.

We are LDS, and if I'm correct, we know the Tonga's (they are in our ward - or our ward that just split). I grew up in Laie, HI and just checked your food blog; yummy poly recipes! It would be fun to get together sometime. Do you work for the airlines?? You can check out our blog: thesummerhaysfamily.blogspot.com or email me: csummerhays{at}gmail{dot}com
