We woke up early this morning and we had our traditional Resurrection Rolls. The recipe can be found here. Please feel free to take the recipes and try them with your family.
Another tradition that we do the day before Easter are the Resurrection Cookies. All of the children still like to participate in this and the meaning has become more personal. I won't post pictures of this event until Tomorrow.
You will need your scriptures for both recipes!
We have always had easter egg hunts and we have always colored egss! Can I tell you I can not wait for the year that I don't have to do this anymore? I never found joy in coloring eggs or cleaning the stained mess afterwards but I forge on because the excitement on my children's faces is a drug to me. I also have 2 children who are too old to color eggs and they have lost the excitement but some satisfaction comes knowing that they will be forced to do this tradition one day with their children. BWAHAHAHAHA,::insert evil laugh::
I am looking forward to another beautiful Easter tradition.
