Science and Discovery Museum

The Science and Discovery museum is one of the FREE wonders to do while in Saint Louis! I am amazed by all of the fun FREE things to do!
We had hours of fun here. It did cost $9.00 for parking but definitely worth it.

A simulated tornado and everything you wanted or needed to know about the conditions that create a tornado.

Kinda creepy but a child mummy!

Life size animated dinosaurs where you can step in their footprints, feel a replica of how their skin would feel.

A true similated lab. Real specimen on a petri dish and microscopes and other scientific doo dads to play with. Lab coats are provided for all shapes and sized. (one size fits most).

an explanation for the wall of evolution!

Well look at you - there you are. Welcome Back!!!
This place looks great - I love Science Centers - especially free ones. The lab sounds super cool but the mummy does look a tad creepy - kids would love that though!!
Hope you are enjoying your August!!!

When Moe was younger, we used to go to Science Discovery museums all the time. My mom had a family membership card for all the museums, zoos, aquariums in the Bay Area and took Moe to all of them, they were good memories.

Love seeing the pics of your family having fun!

We loved that place. I have 2 uncles that lived in St. Louis while attending Logan Chiropractic. My mom and I went every weekend. I have a list of free things if you want to check them out. Make sure you get a concrete if you haven't already.....oh man...heaven in a cup. There is just a ton of things to do free. Hope you guys are enjoying it all. :)
