It is nothing short of a miracle when this boy asked me to take a few pics of him!! I about fell over and literally thought that the skies of heaven opened up!! My eyes looked upward and I may have even offered a silent prayer of thanks then I quickly grabbed him and his sister and we headed to Jackson Stonewall and took advantage of the grounds. I can't believe how fast you are growing and thank you for giving me some pics! After about 20 minutes he was done but I pushed him for an extra 10! Life is good. I'm enjoying every minute my youngest gives me!

My DASH! 15 yrs old -2015
I am blogging current time. I am still not caught up with the past three or so years of blogging the pictures from my phone or on my hard drive but slow and steady wins the race!
Dash has NEVER allowed a photo session! They have ALWAYS been obligatory pictures with the family and one maybe two individuals for record! But, over the past 6 months he had mentioned that I NEVER take pictures of him and I replied, "YOU NEVER want to take any pictures" and YESTERDAY was the DAY!!
It should be marked in the books up above! We've come a long way!
He felt uncomfortable and uneasy! He kept asking what do I do with my hands??
WHERE DO I PUT THEM! and let's be honest if a guy doesn't have his hands in his pockets or crossed or hanging, WHAT DO THEY DO WITH THEM??
I think he did so well and it wasn't too painful!
There may have been a few drops of blood and one tear shed.
(We scared him and shoved him into this brick dungeon so he scraped his arms)
and the shedding of tears may have come because he was sooo over taking pictures but I pressed him more!
THEN THIS HAPPENED and he made me want to cry! I asked my sweet little boy to give me a "come here" or sexy look"! WHAT WAS I THINKING??? He's 15!! so of course, I GOT THIS INSTEAD??
BLESS HIS HEART FOR TRYING
He is an amazing young man! He surprises me everyday and I am always upset that I am surprised! I should know these things and mannerisms of him because he has always been this boy! They were just hidden by other qualities that spoke louder! Dash has always been a fighter! He was born premature and he has had to fight for every breath he needed. He had to fight against different odds medically and being the youngest of 4 with two girls before him; he had to fight to be him and not bossed by two little mothers!
With great power comes great responsibility! Remember the downfalls of King Solomon. He allowed his love for material things and women take precedence over his love for God! Keep your eye single to the Glory of God! I love you so much and you are an amazing son, who I am so proud of! Love, MOM

Father's Day June 2015
Today is Sunday and we celebrated the incredible father that he is! The kids made him a lei but we ran short of flowers at the store and there wasn't enough to go all the way around his neck but it worked out perfect because those spider flowers were so big it would have been cumbersome to his neck and difficult to wear! We were at church and I wanted to take a pic of Mr. Incredible with his lei because he has to leave before the rest of us to attend meetings. Nick who is standing behind them is a pretty neat kid! He is always so nice and kind and polite. I like Big Nick!
Me and my Mr!
When we got home from church I made our family take obligatory pictures! That selfie stick has really paid off! I don't understand this one finger thing but I'm joining in! (apparently, I'm doing it wrong) oh well! LOL
We were in the hall talking to Dale Beachum and his wife Vicki. He is in the bishopric about what he was having for Father's day dinner. We said we were having steak and invited that they were welcome to join us as well. He said that he was having a good dinner at home and that his wife was making homemade southern nanner puddin' WHAT? Banana PUDDING!! I have to have some of that! They called around 7 and said they had made extra and would like to bring it over!! So, so nice and sweet of them! It was so rich and so good with each spoonful I thought I may have a heartattck. Dash, really loved it!! and it was so good and nice to spend time with them and get to know them better! They are such a great couple and so southern! I can't imagine someone being able to not like them!

A year!
It has been a year since we moved in and we are calling it home and good! We have so many things in storage and have gotten rid of a lot of furniture and I have a LOAD of pictures to put up but there just isn't enough wall space to display! I probably have too many things on the walls right now, but for now it's staying! Did I mention the previous owners have one color or golden yellow throughout the ENTIRE HOUSE!!! My things all have a fall and warm color pallet so it isn't atrocious with it!
