Recognize this guy? Well, he flew into Charlotte and I happend to be working his gate. I recognized him but I just couldn't place him, until I read the side of his jacket. To delay him, I quickly asked if he had a carry on bag and he said, "what's that babe", I repeated myself and he replied, "no". I said all in one sentence, Can I get my picture with you? He replied with a chuckle, "Very Smooth"! HA, gotcha!
Any way Paul Sr, was on his way to see Tony Stewart who is a NASCAR driver and he was building a special bike for him and some other big Nascar owner. I live in NC but I never got into the NASCAR scene. But, trust me their are some Nascar fanatics in my neck of the woods.
I also had Eric Estrada, you know the Ponch from Chips? yeah, I'm dating myself. But, he is practically a nobody right? Definitely not an A lister. I didn't want his picture anyway but he was still dressed with his shirt unbuttoned to his navel and cowboy boots, polyester pants and big sunglasses. Dude is stuck in a time warp and he still thinks he is an A lister. LOL. I have met a lot of basketball and football players but they mostly travel as teams so no photo ops there, Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray, Kelly and Regis I've seen. They were all down to my neck of the woods for speed week. Again, a big NASCAR thing.
