GOT MY BOOK

My blog arrived in full print from blurb.com! I am so excited and really pleased. Prior to opening my book I had every intention of returning it if the quality was not up to par! I love the dust jacket and for $40, this book is amazing! My expectations were not extrememly high but I did expect to see my pictures at a decent quality. Some pictures are a little less than decent but still acceptable. I am keeping my book. I have learned that when I print my blog again to sharpen each picture as I load them to blogspot and to overexpose the pictures by 2 fstops. (of course, done in pp). I also crammed a lot of pictures in 344 to be exact. I wanted to get my money's worth out of the pages and memories. Next book, I will choose larger picture layouts and less words. My background pages are all black and it allows for the print to stand out and lends to a more professional look.

2007 Journal is printed

This past week I also got to see Gretchen's printed blog. It looked great. It also motivated me to get mine printed. I had started working on my book shortly after January and just finished it. I think I will love it. My book is 110 pages and has approx 345 pictures in it. All of this cost me $37.95 and with approximately $10 in shipping I came up under $50. I figured with the book being so inexpensive they would get you in shipping. I am excited. I should receive it in 4 to 5 days. I can wait!
