Blogging Gifts

This post here sparked another generous blog reader to send me and my daughters some little treasures. You see she read that one of the gifts that I received through freecycle were porcelain dolls. A tradition that every year for their birthday or Christmas they would receive a doll and I was anxious that I would not be able to do this for them. Thank you so much K, aka froglady I can't wait to find a perfect home for these little dolls in our new home.

Dash has all these pick up lines that he learned from his cousin Andrew. I hate to admit when he says them they always bring a smile to my face. There is something so cute about a nine year old boy rattling off these pick up lines to his mama! I'm sure when he's 19 and rattling them off to some unsuspecting little doll, they won't appear so cute, but for now...I leave you with Dash'isms.

Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?

I love the parasol that she is carrying and her matching hat.
Sweetheart was making him a peanut butter and jam sandwhich. She said, "Dash, we don't have any strawberry left."

I love the detail in the scalloped edge lace.
DASHism: "he replied, that's ok, honey you are the only strawberry I see."
