Deliciously Dirty

My fantastic fridays would consist of my Fantastic memories of Mr. Incredible. I love this and it is something I look forward to sharing and having documented in my book of memories.

One of my memories of dating Mr. incredible was he is a romantic at heart who is sometimes parallyzed by perfection. My darling had picked me up in his cute little black car that thumped like nobody's bizness. This thing had more woofers in it than P diddy and snoop doggy dog! (I'm not a big rapper so I have no idea if the correlation works, but it works for me) Every time he came strolling up to sweep me off my feet he had his woofers a thumping. Everyone knew he was close by and would also let me know. As if! What would be jammin? Salt and Peppa, of course. I felt like such a bad girl on the edge. Remember, I was brought up in Wonderbread, NY. I had no idea this type of music existed. He had quite an eclectic mix of music.

We had drove to an over look and the sun was just going down. I believe we were getting ready to say good bye for the summer. He had sparkling cider, two glasses and some sweet music playing in the background. We toasted and it was so romantic. He had really thought this out and it was sweet.
We watched the beauty of the valley and the sun lightly kiss the maple leaves on the tree. I was perched up against his body with his arms enveloped around me. I could feel the heat of his body against my back and the warmth of his breath against my neck as he whispered the words, "I love you."

The night was brisk and the sun was just going down and the cd was some boy group slow song. I let out a deep sigh, and cooed "I love this song". He moved and took me into his muscular arms and pressed the small of my back against his body ever so gently and looked dead into my eyes with his forehead against mine and began moving in perfect rhythm to the music. My body instinctively followed his, as if we were one. The song escapes me because frankly all I could hear was the methodic beat of his heart. I had a come to Jesus moment. I believe my knees actually did buckle but his embrace would have never let me fall. He uttered, "I love you", once again. I echoed the words back to him. It was one of the most beautiful moments. I was too afraid to breathe out of fear I might tarnish the moment. In the early months of dating and early years of marriage I had quite a few come to Jesus moments. They still happen to this day and I reckon they will continue until I actually arrive at Jesus' feet.
Thanks for the sweet memories my love, here's to many more....
Share an early memory of your beloved. I would love to know.
