RAIN RAIN! Come and Stay

It has been raining for 3 days! I am so thankful for the rain. It really hasn't rained but it has been sprinkling and misting. We are in a 14 inch deficit for the year. We have been on water restrictions for quite some time and more restrictions are going to be implemented if we do not receive more rain. 2 days ago we received 1/10th of an inch. I am not sure how much we received yesterday and today it has been steadily misting. So maybe 2 or 3 inches?? That might be optimistic. This drought and lack of water has really made me reflect on how our family uses, conserves and wastes water. It also has me thinking about our future and how well will we fend in the event we need water. I know I have 2 50 gallon drums for water sitting empty in my garage. We need to be more conservative and respectful of our earth. It starts one person at a time. One can make a difference.
