Puppy Dog EYES

Kekoa loves being around the children. When they leave for school he is always so sad. He is at the bus stop watching them get on the bus every day, it helps since the bus stop is right across the street, directly in front of our home. He stoicly sits and makes sure that they get on the bus safely. He looks so regal poised in our front yard.
He just basically mopes around the house and he becomes my permanent shadow. He will be in 2 places. Either on the couch in the living room, if I am there OR right next to my computer desk, until I move. He always seems to instinctively know when the children are scheduled to come home. He always ALWAYS looks out the window and wait for them. We have 3 busses that come into the neighborhood. We have a bus for highschool, middle school and then elementary. OUT pops his head and he parts the drapes. Hey Gretchen, do like my new drapes? I got them at GOODWILL. $7 for a pair and I bought 2 pairs. They are ok, they give the room a much lighter more casual feel. I figure I am only out $14 if I decide to go back to the other ones. I love the other ones, they are now in the living room. OFF TRACK! SO SORRY!
When he hears the bus, his tail goes to wagging a mile a minute and it hits everything and everyone around him. It is his strongest weapon. His tail goes to slapping the wall and then he gets up and waits at the door. If you do not go to the door quick enough, he will then JUMP up onto the door and peer out the window. BIG NO NO! He doesnt have to jump to look out the sidelights of the door. He could just stand there and see. The bus is now in his sights and I am restraining him with every muscle in my body, to stay by the door until he sees them. BAM! The children are in his sights and he is out of here! He goes CUH-RAZY!!! He is jumping up and down and running circles and running back and forth from the door to the road. He is totally mental! After that huge burst of energy, he recieves his treat, walks around a bit, and then takes his resting spot and doesnt stir for another hour or so. WHAT A LIFE!!! Look how crazy happy he is!

Ummm... Ew. That big dog is on your couch? Yes, I know I am a dog breeder, I should love dogs. Dog breeding has made me anti dog, however.

Yeah, if I was a dog breeder I would lose that too. We dont have a pet. He is one of the family. He sleeps at the foot of my bed too. He is allowed on only one of our couches. It is a bombe leather, it only looks better with wear and age. It is normal for us, now if it were another dog, who wasnt part of our family, I wouldnt be as comfortable.
I have a picture of KEKOA in GRETCHEN and STEVE's BED!!! I dont know how Gretchen does it. I think I would have FREAKED! ( lady is welcome on my bed and couch anytime)
