Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya
Ok, It seems to be a normal sunday blog for me to blog what we had for Sunday dinner. Bill again, woke this morning and cooked us breakfast. I am so going to miss his breakfasts come the first of the year and we will attend services at 9am instead of 1pm. We had country bacon. The huge fat thick slices of bacon with a hint of maple. ::eyes rolled in back of head:: This is my favorite type of bacon. He also had orange juice and grits and eggs. I am not really a grits girl but I will eat it on occassion. This morning I chose to eat them and they were very satisfying to the tongue and belly. (which mine, seems to have grown in girth since the holidays have started) For dinner we had shrimp and sausage jambalaya. This was really tasty and spicy and I went for seconds. Took a nap woke up and ate some again. ::smacks self on head:: You know the kind of smack that you see on tv for Gee, I should have had a V8, yeah now you have the clear picture. Light bulb moment. I guess I found the answer to the increased girth. Instead of napping I should have been walking. Listen, I know all the best diets and everything you SHOULD eat and every excercise you should do. I just don't do it but I have the knowledge and answers how to get thin and stay thin. So, if you need any tips or help just ask! :snort: WE also had bought the mix for strawberry daquiries and pina coladas but there was a Christmas musical tonight at the Stake Center and socialite Spencer just had to go. It will be perfect for Family Home Evening tomorrow. That was our Sunday, uneventful. Church was great.
