DEDICATION RUN

I can't take my own picture very well!

Isn't he just the cutest thing you have ever seen?

Remember the post I wrote about running for our prophet. Well, I did work on Saturday and each step I took for 20 hours was dedicated to him. I probably walked a total of 5 miles, possibly more. I will under guesstimate. However, this past Friday I decided I was going to dedicate some mileage to the cause. I have not walked or ran since the walking deal in TN. I got up and dusted off the treadmill got completely ready to run and can not FIND THE KEY to make the treadmill run!! UGH!!! No worries, I am not going to quit. I decide I am going to run/walk outside. Raining, in fact it is pouring and it is under 30 degrees out! DANG, it is cold. I don't care. I am going to do it. I am determined! I decide to take my puppy with me. He is ok with it, for the first 30 steps. Then it is torture all the way for the two of us. I decided to protect him from the elements. I think he was appreciative, sorta. I protected him from the cold rain! Needless, to say, we drew A LOT OF ATTENTION! LOL

Well, we did it and we are proud of it! I felt great. So great, I don't intend on ever running again. I think my running partner is ok with that too! I used to love to run. Maybe, it will come back to me again.

how stinkin adorable. i want a puppy so bad. waaahhh. i've been thinking about a big breed dog, but maybe not that big! he is so precious. i love walking and running. didn't you feel strong and powerful? i get this euphoria, especially if i really push myself. and walking in the rain is my favorite!!! makes me feel young again. and then you get home and change into warm and cozy clothes and curl up in a blanket on the couch with some cocoa or something. HEAVEN!!!

KT, I did. I really liked doing it. I just can't seem to get motivated. A big dog comes with some serious down sides but he is so precious and sweet! He is my shadow. He loves me so much. He follows me everywhere, which can be annoying but... I just love the big galute! He offers so much companionship to all of us. He wears his emotions in everything he does! He is hillarious!
