CONFETTI EGGS

ALONG with the string we did confetti eggs. Many many moons ago when we lived in Fort Worth and attended that ward. I served in the YW's presidency under a spanish YW's president. She was an older sister and a fairly new convert but she was so much fun! I loved her and learned so much from her. Confetti eggs was one of them. Warrior when he was 3 loved this. It is rare that we get to spend Easter in our home. The last time we spent Easter in our home was 5 years ago! I would like to make it a tradition that we don't travel for Easter, unless we go someplace WARM! I can not express how great this weekend has been and how many speical memories were created. The chitlings said, they loved this year, the BEST!.
We were able to take things at a slower pace and were not rushed or hurried to do anything. Having school out for 2 days after helped, too.
THE FUN!

FUN FUN FUN
Beauty had only seen these eggs once before, when she was a little girl. WALMART now sells these eggs. I had to make them the previous years by decorating them, blowing them out, and buying confetti and stuffing the egss and then adding tissue paper to ensure the confetti stayed in. They are much much cheaper if you make them yourself. I think for a dozen they were over $4 maybe $5.
SO SO SO SO SO SOooooo much fun!! I have decided to put to rest my fears about the children getting older and the holidays not being as fun for them. You create the memories you want them to remember!

It is so sad to see the kids get older but it is nice to know that there are so many great fun things that a family can do together. So many of these things are even more fun when everyone is at an age to participate fully.

Love the photos. I am glad you got around to posting...I am still trying to get to mine...but, hey, my laundry is almost done for the first time in a month.

And yours must be piled high...I was so happy to see 5 posts! Yeah!

ROFL! I am supa woman! My laundry is caught up and folded. The kiddos put their own clothes away. As for dinner, well... we had grilled cheese sandwhiches and tomato soup. Yeah, that is where we suffered today.
