FLIPZ

Dash wanted me to buy FLIPZ. I almost flipped when I saw the price. It was $6 for a bag smaller than 11oz. With the cost of gas and filling up my beast of a vehicle of over $100 a week. I have to be cost savvy and had to tell Dash. Let's try making them. If you don't like them I will come back and buy a bag.

They were a huge success in our house. We have made chocolate covered wands before, where we dipped them in chocolate and then chopped nuts, sprinkles or candy but he wanted FLIPZ! With 6 people in our family that bag would have been gone before we even made it home. I have to think quantity as well as quality. Which puts me on a soap box! WHY IS HEALTHY FOOD so expensive?? WHY is the junk food and things that will clog your arteries easily available and CHEAP?? It definitely makes growing a garden worth it.

No kidding. I think that was pretty savvy of you guys to try making your own. I love those things. We are staying way closer to home this summer and we have a garden growing.

I have less kids in the house now, but I still want to try and save money and not waste it.

Great post and I will have to try these with my daughter. She loves them too.

Good for you making your own Flipz. You are so good!

Healthy food is WAY more expensive and so is gardening/canning at first.
