For Dash's baseball party the team was able to see a Knights game. They are a minor league baseball team and their major league team are the Chicago White Sox.
Dash's team paid for the dream team experience. This included going out on the field, getting a t-shirt, having their team announced and their names announced. They were able to take their position with each on of the Knights players.
(this was really exciting for them).
They stood out there until the national anthem was sung and then they left the field where they could eat and drink and attain snacks until their hearts desired, up until the 5Th inning.
I do not know about the other boys but I know Team Incredible took full advantage of this, perk. It was a especially nice since drinks were $3 and a burger was $6! Can you say, "More Please"? ... uh huh.. yep, no shame. WE also had pretty decent seating. Except our seats were in the scorching sun and were on the opposite end of where the free food and drinks were held.
They were also given the opportunity to run the bases.
The stadium was far from being packed and from where our seats were to the area we could retrieve our free treats, was WAY TOO FAR, to cart nine seven year olds back and forth for a drink. WE would miss too much of the game.
I scouted seating and the main perk was it was in the shade. Once you purchase tickets to get in, they are very liberal and free to where you sit.
Our new seats were front row on the third base side. They were fabulous seats and did I mention they were in the shade?? I was much happier and when I'm happy everyone is happy. WE were blown out by the Buffalo Bison's, who's professional team is the Indians. The final score was 5 to 1. I must mention that I am a fair weather fan. When the Knights are doing well I cheer my mother lovin' heart out but when they are down, I dump them as faster than you can say YOU'RE OUT. The opposing team would always pass by the boys and hear their cheers of mockery. UNTIL!! The Buffalo Bison's would throw the game ball from when they were in the field to the crowd. Hm mm.... It seems like I had some fair weather fans with me, too.
Sweetheart was a sweetheart and gave the ball she was given to Dash as an early birthday present.
The Buffalo Bison's were very nice and they threw our team some game balls and they posed for pictures. Dash had a fun time and it was a nice night out with the family and friends. The girls had their picture taken with the starting catcher. HAAD.
Mr. Incredible was pretty happy that he was able to beat out nine seven year olds while catching a ball. Look at him and all his glory. Do you see a tinge of guilt?? NOPE!, there is still a little boy in there.
I have to say despite all the kicking, screaming, yelling and complaining about being hot, thirsty and tired, (NO, not by the 7 year old boys but by me) I am really glad I went.

Free food? Sounds like fun to me!
Food, did you say free food, you forgot to call the tribe. Sounds like a wonderful experience though.
I love the pic of the boys on the field with the players, so cute. How much fun did they have? Mr Incredible had fun! Look at his face! I was just wondering though, was it hot? Free food ROCKS! I had to laugh at Nat's food porn comment. I looked the other day and was so excited to try some of that.
