OREOS

Dash absolutely loves oreos. I wanted to make his baptism a little more special and made a few oreo goodies just for him.
For some great oreo recipes, click our family recipe blog, or the direct link or here.

OREO DESSERT

OREO Cookies the original recipe I had called for the cookies to be 2 inches in diameter. Much too large. But, these cookies truly have that deep chocolate "oreo" taste. Make them into dime size balls and you are close to the REAL DEAL!

You are the best mom in the Universe, we just pay for the whole ward to go to golden corral on my children's birthday. There they get all the pre-made desserts they want, but now maybe I will have to try this for a family home evening treat. Thanks you are a rockstar!!!!

HOLY SUPERLATIVES batman! the entire ward to go out to eat! Nope, can't do it!! We had over 200 for my daughter's baptism. For Dash we kept it much smaller but the numbers were still up there.
My hat goes off to you and DH! I remember when we lived in UT and went to the Tongan ward we ate out at chuckarama almost weekly because someone was having a blessing, baptism, or year birthday.

You've just killed me. I've been "off oreos" for months now, but you've just made me fall of the oreo wagon now.
Have a great weekend!

considering our code meaning for "oreos" all of these comments turn into double entendres....LOL but seriously, talking about the actual COOKIE itself, i have never cared for oreos. is that WEIRD? josh LOVES them. i get a pack for him every time i go grocery shopping and put them on the top shelf of the pantry. it's an unspoken rule that those are HIS cookies. i always think about getting my own fave- (famous amos chocolate chip pecan) but i know i'd just EAT them. LOL.
