FREEDOM, it comes with a price

FREEDOM from the beginning of time has always come with the ultimate price of bloodshed. CHRIST died on the cross and shed his blood for us so that we could be FREE from the bonds of sin. FREE from the snares of Satan. Even before our temporal state there was a Great War in Heaven, where we chose to come to earth. WE fought for our FREE AGENCY, our agency to have the choice to be tested and to one day return back to our Father in Heaven.
The scriptures tell of wars and bloodshed. What was it over? To be FREE from Tyranny, to be FREE to worship. World WarI, World War II, Vietnam War, and the conflicts and wars that are going on today all boil down to FREEDOMS and the right to them. Most importantly it also ALL boils down to sacrifice and bloodshed so that a better life can be for others. I know if it were me in those people's places I would want American Soldiers to rescue. I would be praying for help and relief. WATCH THIS VIDEO I found it on Purple Diva's blog.

I see many men and women in our military forces come through the airport. I have talked with many and each one that I have talked to know their purpose. They back our President. They believe they should be there. Some have different views on how things should be handled but they all agree their presence should be there. Yes, they want it done. Get it over with and Get out.

I am so blessed to be born on this free land. I am so blessed to have the gospel of Jesus Christ, I am so blessed to have the right to protest, the right to disagree with our President, the right to raise my voice. In many countries those same rights can sentence me to death. BUT PLEASE REMEMBER, the ability to have those rights, SOMEBODY DIED for that FREEDOM and right so that I could openly express any opinion I so choose.

Thank you for sharing this Mother Goose. What a beautiful and touching reminder of why I have the freedom to enjoy the things I so easily take for granted.

THanks for the reminder, we must never forget how truly blessed we are. I recently finished a series of books about the struggles of women in Saudi Arabia. It caused me to reflect on how good my life is and helped me remember not to sweat the small stuff.

Love your post. I recently lost a cousin who had gone twice to Afghanistan. He loved the people there and believed that he and the other soldiers were doing the right thing. I was humbled by his sacrifice and so saddened by his passing-- I hope we can all remember that freedom is NEVER free.

Thanks! I am crying now. This was wonderful. Freedom isn't free. I bless all the men and women who give their lives for us every time I see an American Flag. m

Oh my goodness! I am bawling now! I always get so emotional when it comes to our military men and the sacrifices that they make for us. It reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice our Brother made---

Your "say thanks" video from a while back also had me crying. I will always remember that upon seeing them when I travel! I am so humbled and grateful for all they do and what JESUS has done for me.

Alright as you know I am quite green in the blogging world and I have no idea what I am doing but Tiff seems to know loads. Have you joined Goodreads yet? It rocks!! I recommend Eve and the Choice Made In Eden. You can read my comments on it by clicking on the book. I know Natalie has a copy you can borrow. By the way I love your blog. Do you mind if I look and add you as a friend?

I'm so glad you shared a piece of your testimony with us. You have such a beautiful soul. It's so true - people have sacrified and died since before time began. What a debt of gratitude we owe.

AWESOME!! What a wonderful video. We just had a great thought provoking conversation yesterday about war. I am so grateful for those who fight for our rights and others rights. I'm so grateful for our freedom. Thanks for the post.

Loved it!!! My brother in law is just coming home from leading a group of young marines in battle over there. My cousin just came home a month ago. And will most likely go back in the near future. My best friends hubby served there for a year. My family has served in every branch of the military. It is hard to listen when in each of the last wars starting with world war 2, my family has been a part of. To hear future/possible leaders talk the way they do. As my son talks about enlisting in the future. I tell him I would be proud to see him serve. If I were to loose him. I would thank God for sending my son to protect our freedoms and those of others.
"FREEDOM, it comes with a price" not many are willing to accept or be grateful for.
