It's my nephew's Sam's birthday today! We plan on flying to NY this week to help him celebrate and to also celebrate my other nephew LD's graduation from high school. The Eaton parties are always fun parties to attend, there is lots to do and lots to eat! Mmmmmm.... we all can't wait.

I flew into Charlotte to pick up a few shifts while my girls were away at Girls Camp! Look who I bumped into? I don't watch wrestling but I was stunned by his size that I just knew I recognized him from somewhere. He's The Great Khali, he stands over 7ft 4inches weighs over 420 pounds and was in the longest mile. He also held some WWE world class championship belt but, I'm not sure if he does anymore. He was really nice and really BIG! We were both looking at sunglasses at the sunglass hut. I was actually purchasing sunglasses for a fellow co-worker of mine. She had to return back to her gate due to an early inbound aircraft arriving 20 minutes ahead of schedule! GEE, never heard of that?? Yeah, the smaller stations will leave early if they have everyone! It stinks because then that breaks into your possible only lunch break of the day. We get a good discount but if you grab one of the food workers they get a 30% discount. So, I purchased a $300 pair of sunglasses for $225.00! Not bad, I bought a $300 pair of sunglasses ONCE and left them on the beaches of Puerto Rico during a thunderstorm and when I ran back down to my chair, someone had already SWIPED them!! I decided then I would NEVER pay so much for a pair of sunglasses again!
See this piece of cute wallpaper border? It's perfect for a little girl. But, I have a little boy. So, I have been scraping and scraping to remove it, so I can finish his bedroom and so he won't be dreadfully embarrassed when he has sleep overs. It comes off fairly easy with a water mixture of vinegar or fabric softener and water. However, the previous owners didn't prep the walls properly and the wall is getting damaged. So, it calls for extremely SLOW tedious work! WE all know how much I love slow tedious work! I think I'm A.D.D, like seriously!

I was at our local feed store and they had these sweet lovies for sale! I knew our lot of land would be the perfect place for them! We could have our own fresh eggs in the morning and come Turkey day in two years we may be able to have ourself a home grown turkey. I quickly called Mr. Incredible and told him what I was about to purchase. He quickly nixed that idea right in the butt, quite rudely, I have to say. Sadly, I did not purchase those sweet things, not out of fear of disobeying the hubs but out of fear that they really would be more trouble than I was willing to put up with. He also said, our mastiff, Kekoa might find them really tasty. He has become quite the efficient bird chaser.

Dash was complaining about how his sisters were always buying new clothes, dresses and shoes and how he was never getting to do anything. He just doesn't need anything. People had given us some clothes for Dash that he needed nothing. So, because we wanted to we let him do this fun jump thing in the mall. He was a happy camper. He enjoyed his time on the ropes and we never heard another word of complaining. Priceless.

These next pictures are disgusting! You should have seen the blood when Mr. Incredible squeezed it between paper. EWWWWWWWWW! WE have many deer that run through our front yard as well as our back yard. Have seen the big bucks come out yet but at least yearlings or two year olds. Their rack will be gorgeous if they ever make it that long. Anyway with these creatures come ticks, deer ticks and our Kekoa loves to relieve himself in the tall grass! I never minded before because that just means less yard work for us to clean up after.

I may have to re-consider where he drops a load because I don't like these things!

I love the fun stuff!!! :) and hate the ticks...which reminds me that my dog is going to get ticks and fleas when we move to Kauai... ugh!
did you try steaming the paper off the wall instead of scraping it? I had done this before much easier than all that scraping and way less wall damage from the accidental "gouge" instead of scrape LOL! I used a Shark steamer.
YUK about the ticks too - glad I do not have a pet to worry about that problem
Holy cow that guy was huge!! Unbelievable!! I can't believe Dash jumped on that bouncy thing soo high!! It makes my stomach do flips just looking at it! What a little stud with no fear!!
Ticks!! Wow! I haven't seen one since we moved from Idaho!! WOW!!
EWEWEWWWWW I LOATHE TICKS!! Poor Kekoa!!
I think it is best you didn't get the chicks because you can get attached! My friends had chicken and the grandkids, one a little younger than Dash fell in love with one chicken and when it was killed by a wild animal, oh man, serious emotional drama!:(
That GUY IS FLIPPIN HUGE!!
