Saturday THE BIG B DAY! Gretchen received gifts from her family and then we all went out to eat at a yummy restaurant, Demo's. All 18 of us and they had really good food and service for such a big crowd. They were excellent and tolerated us so well! So, if you are ever in Murfreesboro, TN, please head on over to Demo's and tell them the Solomons' sent you! The guys went back to the house to watch FIGHT night and the girls all went out to a chic flick, 27 dresses.
WE sang happy birthday in the morning, happy birthday for presents, happy birthday at dinner time. Gretchen must know everyone and their brother in her town. We walk in and she sees people she knows. It was opening night and our movie was crowded.
WE sat in the very last row of the theater. Gretch and I did a pit stop to the ladies room and as I walked out, I said, "Hey guys, you all know Gretchen? when we come back in will you say Happy Birthday?" Sure, they reply.
We walk in, DARN IT! they must have forgotten or didn't seen us. We sit down in the last row up top. This girl and her friends say, Hey GRETCHEN?! 12 ROWS DOWN!!!
People turn around to see whom she is talking to. I would turn too, because I am that nosy kind of girl. Then they break out in unison and on pitch with a full rendition of Happy Birthday! other people in the theater started singing too! Oh MY IT WAS FAR BETTER THAN I could have ever hoped for. LOL, Gretchen was so embarrassed. Yes, if you know me. That is goal, if I could accomplish that. I feel quite successful.
We drove home where Mr. Incredible had two beautiful Caramel Cakes, the most coveted "Incredible" tradition passed down from generation to generation, beautiful southern cakes awaiting his FAVORITE SIL. They were baked and made to perfection. (sorry Jen, you are his favorite in NY, well next to Jess too.) oh well, maybe you don't even want that honor. Because it does mean you are teased and ridiculed and mocked relentlessly. But, those cakes were divine and WE DID sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY, one last final time.

We walked out for church Sunday morning and we found written on the van and on her window's Happy Birthday. Honk I am 34! Gretchen's way cute twin neices had come and left their birthday wishes. How fun and how cute! I wish I had older nieces to do that for me. I wish they had stopped and came inside! We so would have loved it and Warrior said, he would have liked to see the girls too!! ::dang it:: Next time!

We went to Demos!!! What time did you go? we were there at about 7:45. I told Adrian we should have called. He said we shouldn't interrupt your plans!!

OH MY goodness Cynthia!!! We just barely missed each other! Dangit! It would have been so much fun meeting up at the restaurant. You better tell A that we are Solomons' we do not mind family or others! The more the merrier! You ding bat! We went to Demo's at 430ish and it was a 25min wait. That place stays packed. We finished dinner about 6:45 and headed to the movies and caught the 7' show.
We didn't see the girls but I think Bruce went outside to start his car and he said he thought he saw the girls. But, he never said anything until TODAY!, SUNDAY what a ninny! well, I have another word, but my blog in my mind is G rated, even though I got an R rating. Numbnutt he is!
Rachel, of course she enjoyed her surprise. You guys are awesome! She felt really sad that you didn't come in, had she known you came down! Next time, do so. I love those type of surprises too!
We are increadibly cute, yes of course, next time we will have to stop in if we can get dad to agree.
I loved loved my surprise. I am going to blog about it I promise. That was such a great birthday! I will never forget 34! Hope 35 comes in with a bang and 40 lbs. lighter!!!!
