It is beautiful, nice and sleek and has awoken a desire that once thrived with in many many years ago. At first I was intimidated by it and behaved like a school girl. I would take short glances at it, I would walk by it, do a little flitting with my fingers on its keys. OH MY GOSH, I was flirting with this black beast. It slowly seduced me with its soft coos and then I was hooked and couldn't keep my fingers off of its keys. I wish I could play better. I wish I could remember what those notes were for my left hand!

For over a week we have had no other form of entertainment other than him. We chose not to have our TV's hooked up until we know exactly where we want them drilling. In the evening light he takes on a much more substantial feel. I will only be able to keep Big Daddy with us for a few more weeks. The woman who knows how to make him sing beautiful music will soon claim him once again. I can't give him up! I had thoughts of replacing him when he must leave, but once you play on a Big Daddy, nothing else will do. I can't make him sing. I seem to make him sound like he's dying but as time goes by music is coming out from his chords. I just need more time, I'll be able to play him like a fine tuned Baby grand, wait, he is a baby grand BUT don't tell him because he likes to think he's a Big Daddy.!

Look at that reflection! I may or may not have laid my svelte body across this Big Daddy. And just look at that beautiful chandelier's reflection. It makes me think of swinging from the chandeliers, which I may or may not have tried to swing from. Obviously, our kitchen chandalier was not put into a rafter. (I'm just sayin...) WHat, you don't believe me?? OK, OK, I gotchew!

Such beautiful ivory keys. We also may or may not have tickled her ivories! Oh wait, maybe that was in another room. I'm just not sure these days, see what NO TV does to a woman?? I think Mr. Incredible may never hook up TV... but then again, he may! Because Mr. Incredible will always be MY BIG DADDY!

This post is a much needed post for me. I used to be more fun but going through the journey we just went through and coming out on the other side changes a person deeply. I'm glad I can bring the light side back. I was wondering if it would happen.
PHEW::

Wow! That is quite the beautiful piano!! You are so lucky to be able to keep "Big Daddy" - it makes me want to play just looking at your pictures!
SHUT UP! You get to keep him until you move? You HAVE to get lessons, and tell Dash, well maybe not yet, how much the women folk love a boy who can play. And look, he's the same color as an oreo! hehe. I'm glad your back baby! PS I forgot to tell you that I got my book, I'm sure it will do more good for me once I open it up. I need to do some studying in it, some highlighting some dog earing etc etc. Love ya babe! Tickle those ivories!
That's awesome! Enjoy "Big Daddy". My Hubs would LOVE to have access to a piano like that. Congrats on getting to continue the love affair- at least until it ends.
TAKE lessons, if you feel such passion for it!! I always wished I could play the piano, but NO TV...sorry I was unconscious there for 45 minutes, I could not do without, I am such an addict! LOL!
Oh my gosh...how BEAUTIFUL!!
And yes...I would totally invest in lessons!!
What great news! IT's beautiful! I don't know how to play but I bet it SOUNDS beautiful too!
I AM SO JEALOUS I CAN'T EVEN THINK.

OK. I'm also happy for you. Dash MUST have lessons. I'll bet you find someone to come to your house to teach just to play on Big Daddy.
I'm still so jealous.
Big daddy is one good reason to never move..
I own a daddy myself, but can't play..One of my regrets in life.
There is a reason not to move!
Beautiful, just Beautiful.....

I am in love! How incredibly gorgeous! I would have to sprawl on the top and croon out some Sinatra or something!
Lucky. I love my baby grand, although it isn't the nicest one on the planet. I'm still thankful for it. Enjoy!
